White House urges top court to reject spy damages case

WASHINGTON (AFP) — The US administration has urged the Supreme Court to throw out a case brought by ex-CIA spy Valerie Plame who is suing former officials after her cover was blown to the media in 2003.

Solicitor general Elena Kagan said in a written admission to the nation's top court that a federal court's rejection of the claim by Plame and her husband Joe Wilson should stand.

Well Well Well so a new president comes in and says he's running under the guise of holding previous adminstration officials accountable for what they have done during the bush years and here they are trying to dismiss one of the biggest cases there was.

At least theres a name to go with who's trying to make it go away "Elena Kagan" I would really hate to be in her shoes right now. I wonder whos going to fire the first shot here the CIA or the adminstration or is this story the first shot?
