Florida is a better state as they do not get much of federal budget because Florida is a self sufficient state, they have tourism as the main source of state income.

Many people likes Florida because of that.

Almost makes me sick to my stomache every time I see this now.

Find myself where? In a f**king tent?

When can I start?

How about NEVER!!

But this is what California and the rest of the Country needs to wake up, I pity the fools who think voting Nazi is cool!

It's not all that it's been made out to be. I worked at walmart here and I' have seen a lot of moochers/leechers off the system down here. We also have a large populace of illegals...as the one poster put it. It may have been true at one time, and that's why I came here. But, they are falling to the wayside, too. BUT NJ THEY really need to consider enforcing the same implement that california is.( it's also notable that alot of NJ people are coming down here and becoming residents and many of our elections are going to the blue now).

There will be a ripple effects and everyone's is going to hit, no matter where you live.

well...it looks like we'll have a less populated state, that's for sure. crime will pick up, along with cheap labor. sounds like a third world country to me.

This is just wrong. I am so sick of the govt taking away any form of help for the lower class. This county is all about money and whoever has the most wins. I am so sick of seeing this kind of stuff in the news. Sorry to rant but lately I have been so frustrated with all this BS. This has to stop! I am considered lower class but I work but my off (70hrs a week) and I get nowhere. I go to school, which I pay for myself, and I am working on a better future but the govt sure makes it hard for me to do it lately.
What they need to have is stricter rules on welfare. I see people DAILY who abuse this system and clearly dont deserve it while others who do are denied. This is just nuts. I feel bad for anyone who live in CA and needs this assistance. I wish you the best if this happens

Ok dont with my rant....

Haha, "Corporate Pimps" I rather enjoy the way you put that. It's exactly what we should start referring to them as, considering how it describes them compared to their preferred contrary title which is "Lobbyist."

Although that's nothing more than the sugar-coated name to make'em sound good.

And yes I'd also have to share the opinion that the rich and very wealthy that are OUTSIDE of the Wall St Gang and the Banking Cartel are about to have a rude awakening themselves..

Better do like Gerald Celente and get your money out while you can, in his latest interview he claimed after his bank withdrawal of 5 bags of money the same bank within the same week was robbed.

Yes, these are scary times at hand, Unless we all stop procrastinating and do something about this stuff then I suggest we all just begin to try and envision whats ahead.

For example what do we expect to come when people are literally robbing for Pop-eyes chicken now-a-days which happened in Florida recently. So it's really not in much of a better stand point than Cali.

One of the interviewed even admits things like this are a "everyday thing."

But lets not forget the freak-out of KFC not being able to live up to it's free chicken promise, which was even more recently and did we see how that caused a bitter ruckus?

Although lets keep in mind the food shortage hasn't even officially hit globally along with it's Codex program but the prices continue to rise daily and haven't you noticed some of your favorite brands disappearing? Honey Bunches of Oats along with others are no longer available anywhere to be found in my city.

All in all, the video above clearly suggests otherwise.

The only thing that I can think of to really make sense of any of this is the statement recently said by Daniel Hannen, MEP against the Prime Minister he stated and I quote

"It is true that we're all sailing together into the squalls, But; not every vessel in the convoy is in the same dilapidated condition." End Quote.

He also went on to say to the PM that he had ran out of England's money, and there's a new topic floating around here with someone else in power admitting the same.

Things that make you go, Hmmm..

I say good about time. Things have gotten to a point where something has to break. If you have been paying attention the government will be the first to outsource the "breakage" and save themselves and let the citizens take the pain.

As far as America turning into a socialist paradise and Obama wanting to "Federalize" Cali, that isn't going to happen. It might be what he wants, but there are 49 other states that can file a lawsuit against the government for that action and Obama's and Arnold's plan will be shot to hell and they will have to sleep in the bed that they made.

If this was 20 or 30 years ago and things were like they are now then I could see people crawling to the gov to "fix" all their problems. As it stands now the Dem's and Repub's are losing numbers fast and Independents are gaining just as fast. Sure some people will welcome the gov and all their overbearing ways but the majority won't stand for it.

Like it or not, this is the signs of things to come. Major constitutional challenges that will force Obama to show his hand and find other ways to further his agenda. The media has warped a lot of peoples views on who the majority is, but unfortunately people that are dissociated with reality are about to find out that the days of big government a the culture of corruption are coming to an end.

Riots in LA, sure, Martial Law in LA, sure, The Cali gov going under and a massive fleeing of the state, sure, the fed government powerless to do anything about it, yep that's going to happen.

Lots of people I see are telling people in Cali to get prepared, but you might want to take your own advice and do the same because as other people have mentioned its going to have a major ripple effect.

Everyday and every time somebody from this administration opens their mouth they lose more of their base. People are fed up and they are going to start pushing back. It isn't going to be pretty. Better start preparing because bad things are coming. And believe me I do not want any of those things to happen but the small vocal minority voted for "change" with out asking what kind of change it was, and now we are all going to have to pay for it.

In short, empty threats or not this is part of a bigger agenda and none of it is going to fly the courts will shoot down a bunch of the "solutions" coming from Big Brother and then the finger pointing, irrational debate, and violence will start. Cali won't even be a shadow of its former self. The socialist that created this mess have run out of scape goats and pretty soon they will be in the hot seat with nowhere to run and no one to blame. They have dumbed people down so much that it is actually working against them at this point.

People want big gov programs, but don't want to pay for it. Thank the socialist for that because they failed to teach that semi-socialist countries have really high tax rates. They forget to teach that lesson and send kids into the world thinking completely illogically. Now they are going to have to face the wrath of a stupid population that think money grows on trees.

Yep, so look to Cali and Michigan to see what the rest of the country will look like in about 2 years. And just for the record this has been a long time coming, and we all share the blame for this.

Can you imagine the riot? Not pretty.
Only way left is to have government step in. Or else, just admit that they were wrong -snort-
Sorry, I couldn't even type that without swallowing some bile. . .

During the last riots (rodney king riots)in LA Calif over 1500 rioters/looters were shot by civilians defending there property.

The really strange part was the news media blackout of this.
and that no one was ever arrested for shooting any rioters.

Even the Koreans got into shooting rioters.

If there are riots as long as the police stay out of the way we will take care of the problem.

Hi Blackops,

Well they have been fending for themselves since the dawn of mankind but yes, now they will be left even more vulnerable to a economy that is shedding 500 000 jobs per month because the banks cheated each other so badly that now they wont lend to each other or themselves. Just like you wouldn't trust a wolf to watch your chickens we never have been able to trust our governments ( who showered the bankers in our cash; cash that could have paid all these benefits so we wouldn't need to lend money from bankers) with our affairs. But hey, i hope you get a taste of the 'freedom to fail' you wish for others.

Say it aint so!! What a nightmare this could be.....no more government funded meal tickets!!??

Well they had to take the money they are giving to the bankers from someone ( bankers works hardest of us all) so i suppose it's best not to 'waste' it one those who have lost their jobs trough absolutely no faults of their own.

They may even have to eventually get...j...jo....jobs!! The horror

The vast majority of people on benefit programs work full time and the the vast majority of the rest would if they could find jobs. Sad that you feel the need to mock your fellow Americans by presuming that there is a significant proportion of your countrymen that would take benefits if they did not absolutely have to. I mean why are people stupid enough to think that they will ever get anything back from social security or all the rest of the taxes they pay on their gas, food and everything else?

Any chance your Christian as i just love this neighbourly, generous and patriotic spirit your showing.

Two years?

Stunning optimism.

I hope you are right, if you are then people can have more time to prepare.

I do believe that it could happen sooner, and more suddenly. we are creeping downhill now, if California defaults it could accelerate the fall of the rest of the country to free fall.

Is this a series of unfortunate events or an orchestrated plan to completely change the course of the nation and government perhaps even the world?

TIME will tell... How much we have is highly debatable.

Yes the bankers cheated and swindled us ALL as tax payers....yes the politicians are dirty and corrupt and entirely to blame...and this whole collapse has been in the making for a long long time.

If you had bothered to read my follow up post to the one in question, I mentioned clearly that I am entirely on the side of working Americans and the ones who are being victimized by high taxes and high unemployment. I am one of those people. We have been tax mules and wage slaves for our entire lives while feeding a system of corruption and waste.

My initial pointed attack was targeted towards the bottom feeders out there who have done their part in dragging the working class to its knees and into poverty as well. I am talking about welfare pimps and those who have used and exploited out system for year after year, decade after decade, having child after child, and contributing nothing to society while they have taken advantage of free health care, child care, welfare benefits, WIC, and so on and so on.

These are also the people who will now be forced to fend for themselves for once. People who can no longer live as parasites who feed off of the generousity and hard work of others.

So yes I sympathize entirely with those who have lost their jobs and lost their homes and lost their pensions through no act of their own. My heart goes out to those who will not attend college because of lack in funding. I am not happy with the fact that many elderly and sick people will pay a cost in all of this. I suffer as you suffer.

But I will not and do not feel sorry for the high percentage of welfare whores who will no longer be receiving their monthly meal ticket. TOUGH S***. They can either work or they can starve, pick one.

And no, Im not a Christian, and if I were it wouldn't change my opinion in any way.

I can't believe how many reactions go like this: "Great, these lazy bastards on welfare now finally... etc..."

This country has been snatched up, flipped upside down, and shaken for our final pennies by a couple globalist capitalist monster corporations and parasitical financial institutions.
Many people are born in welfare, in broken homes, violent streets full of drugs....

...and instead of criticizing the white collar crooks who write the laws that allow them to screw us with our pants on, some here blame the poor folks. Very shortsighted in my opinion.

Don't give me that, I'm tired of people feeling victimized or feeling that others are victimized.....I'd say that 80 to 90 percent (i'm not saying ALL, I know there are some who really need it) of the people on welfare if they REALLY wanted to could go out and find a job, but they'd rather just me (a HARDWORKING TAXPAYER) give them a handout. Most of these people on welfare have NEVER worked a hard day in their life, and just go around blaming society, or blaming their environment. I'm a perfect example, I grew up in the slums and I worked hard and made it out, and have a good job, and NOW they want me to pay for them because they're LAZY. Screw that. I have no sympathy for lazy people that take advantage of the system.

And I'm sure there are people who will say, well it's the systems fault. Yes of course it is, the game is rigged, it ALWAYS has been, get used to it. Find a way to BEAT the system, like I did. I used to be like that, always just blaming the system for everything, but I got tired of that, I'm not gonna go through my entire life blaming the system. I decided to (while I still know the system is corrupt) to enjoy my life the best I can, and to work hard and to NEVER expect anything from anybody.

Incredibly important Tentickles. Thanks for the heads-up. S&F

...and so it begins, in earnest.

FDR started support programs for the needy population that was created by the 1930 Depression. Today, the response to the 2009 Depression is to dismantle programs that support the needy. Interesting swing.

IMHO, it's about time and I hope other states follow suit. Let's be realistic here. I feel for the people that GENUINELY need the assistance, I really do. Sadly, for the most part, the system is abused by those that aren't deserving. The government has perpetuated irresponsible behavior for as long as I can remember. It's tragic that a handful of good people will suffer for this.... but for the most part, I truly believe it's a good move. Make the people who CAN get off of their asses and start contributing to this society. It's sickening that such a small percentage of tax payers have been bearing the burden for such a long time.

Well, some people are predicting for it to come faster, but in 2 years we will be completely in the trench so to speak. Everybody will know what the real deal is. Even though the economy is in complete turmoil right now we still have a lot of wealth and it will take a little bit of time for all that to dry up.

2007 was like 1929 and in 1932 is when it all came down. We will see. I hope it's 2 years myself. But depending on when the riots start and the governments reaction to those rioters will determine what happens.

Interesting times we live in. I wonder who California is going to vote in next gov. election. That will be interesting. I don't have much hope for that state.
