To be quite honest, I think a person has the right to choose. And whether or not a law is in place or not. People still do kill themselves respectively.

So to keep things simple, I think if the goverment wants to get involved then they should propose a Suicide Booth like they have in Futurama

I mean we all already have public toilets and Phones.... Why not a killbox?

This subject hits home for me so much personally. My dad just passed on to the world of spirit Friday morning, after a long battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The suffering he had to endure (and that we had to witness) toward the tail end of this horrible disease was more than anyone should ever have to, if we live in any kind of an empathic, or sympathetic world.

I can't count how many times he asked, "Where is Kevorkian when you need him?"

This is an option that ANY person with a terminal, debilitating disease should have a LEGAL right to IMHO.

I here you. My mother passed on in November after a 4 year battle with cancer of the uterus, liver, and brain. (all one after another) By the end of it she was very tired, and just wanted peace.

My condolences to you and your family DD.

There is always, a light at the top of the hill. Be strong.
