Apparently this was a critical decision using Canada's new law to prosecute foreigners for war criminals captured on our soil.

Not only that, the standard to convict is apparently very high. Namely, the prosecutors proving he was a murderer would not be enough to convict, they had to prove he committed, "crimes against humanity".

Good one Canada.

But a Canadian prison is too good for this mass mudering scum bag. What they should do is deport his ass back to Rwanda and dump him in a Tutsi neibourhood and let the people deal with him.

On another note our Navy has intercepted several Somalie pirates but have been powerless too prosecute them resulting in them being set free.

However, apparently we are in final negociations to be able to not only detain them, but turn them over to Kuwait (I believe) for prosecution.
