NOAA Predicts Solar Cycle 24

After all the "projections/predictions that Solar Cycle 24 was going to be one of the strongest we have seen in recent history, now NOAA is making another projection/prediction, that Solar Cycle 24 will be the weakest since Solar Cycle 16 which peaked with 78 Sunspots per day in 1928.

A new active period of Earth-threatening solar storms will be the weakest since 1928 and its peak is still four years away, after a slow start last December, predicts an international panel of experts led by NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center. Even so, Earth could get hit by a devastating solar storm at any time, with potential damages from the most severe level of storm exceeding $1 trillion. NASA funds the prediction panel.

Solar storms are eruptions of energy and matter that escape from the sun and may head toward Earth, where even a weak storm can damage satellites and power grids, disrupting communications, the electric power supply and GPS. A single strong blast of solar wind can threaten national security, transportation, financial services and other essential functions.

The panel predicts the upcoming Solar Cycle 24 will peak in May 2013 with 90 sunspots per day, averaged over a month. If the prediction proves true, Solar Cycle 24 will be the weakest cycle since number 16, which peaked at 78 daily sunspots in 1928, and ninth weakest since the 1750s, when numbered cycles began.

So apparently they are projecting/predicting that the crawl like pace that the Sun got into the past 3 years is going to continue.

Looks like were headed for some cool weather. Here is a website I stumbled apon that has alot of data about Solar Cycle 24!

If this solar cycle is very weak and the tempertures around the world drop what will the global warmer claim then.

Maybe that is why they are now calling it climate change.
Will they still claim its man made.

Yeah, they will still say it's all exactly as AGW should be. They'll say that if there wasn't minimal sun activity, there would be much higher temperatures around the globe, and catastrophe is close at hand and as soon as the sun picks up, we're in for it. We'll see.

But then again, that's not suprising seeing how many people have vested interests in "carbon trading", along with all the people who got sucked in by the "scientific consensus".

JJ Cannell-Epidemic Influenza and vitamin D - Solar radiation produces vitamin D, creates an immune response. Studies suggest that solar activity has a direct link to our level of immunity.

Looks like the perfect storm coming re Flu Pandemic and solar minimum.
Add to that our stressed lifestyles, highly proccessed diets and flouridation of our water, (to name but a few of our daily toxins).

ElectricU, do you have any data for solar activity related to previous plagues and pandemics?

I also believe that the Suns activity also has profound effects on humans, both psychologically and spiritually. Melatonin/pineal gland.

I've got a graph showing sunspot intensity/economic links..

It's a sine wave lol!

It seems like the Northern parts of North America are cooler then normal
