NASA footage 1991: the forgotten smoking gun?

I couldn't find this footage on ATS and my net has been really slow to do an extensive search, so excuse me if its been posted before. This is sts-48 from 1991, if im not mistaken, please correct me if i am.

In the video you see 2 objects moving and then make amazing turns! One in particular leaves behind a light trial, the kind of stuff you see on Star Trek.

Edit: Not to mention all the countless other objects that seem to moving around!

Anyway, watch in HD, and tell me what you think that is, there are no ice crystals here, thats for sure.

And yes, the mission was STS 48 and the video was taken on September 15, 1991, between 20:30 and 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time.

I think the footage in your vid has been sped up as ive never seen it move that fast & you can barely see the flash of the weopon that has been used which makes it turn away.

I doubt it's alien spacecraft we're looking at here.

Debunking attempt: decide for yourself whether it's b/s or a valid explanation (long story short, reflective particles near to the lens, agitated by thrusters)
