If people didn't like Wal-Mart it would go out of business.
If people didn't want to work at Wal-Mart they would go get jobs elsewhere.
But they do.

Sam Walton was another fine example of American success and the mainstream Media is always looking for ways to tear that down.

Glad you said "cheaper" and not "less expensive", because "cheaper" is exactly what describes it.

If you want to talk price, ou will never beat online pricing. period.

If paying slave wages and offering no benefits, and cornering your employees so the only place they can afford to shop is at your business is a fine example of american success, then things have deteriorated much further than I thought.

Not much elaboration needed. They pay their workers pennies, offer no benefits, and intimidate their employees out of unionizing.

They sell nothing but the cheapest of goods. They sell nothing but imported goods. Their upper level management get rich, while their employees live in poverty.

The pay their worker what our elected officals say they can pay them, not a penny less. It seems like a wise business decision to pay employees the lowest amount allowed by law... it seems to work well for them.

Why are you blaming Walmart for this? Why not blame the elected officials who said they can do this?

U.S. consumers seem to love their "cheapest of goods". This also seems to be a good business decision... maximum profit for lowest capital. Why are you blaming Walmart for this instead of the consumers?

Many employers don't offer their employees benefits. The "mom & pop" outfits Walmart puts out of business when they open don't usually offer their employees benefits. If people need benefits they can go get a job that provides benefits. Again... why blame Walmart and not blame the employees who accept these jobs?

In my opinion, Walmart is not a poster child for the economic problems we are having... it seems like you can trace it back further to politicians, employees, and consumers.
