why do i always have dreams of nuclear bombs????

for as long as i can remember i have always had dreams of nuclear bombs,ww3,asteroids hitting earth and things like that. not every single night but enough to know that i dream about it frequently. the funny thing is i dont consider them nightmares. well i had another one last night. basically the dream went like this, i was in my girlfriends parents house and we noticed a lot of commotion outside. we went out side and i saw a mushroom cloud over the tree line in the distance. i had asked on of the neighbors what had happened and they said tulsa oklahoma had just been nuked. then a series of 4-5 flashes went off and i saw more mushroom clouds in the distance, and thats all i remember. the only thing i find weird about this is that i live in the suburbs of nyc so there is no way that i would see a mushroom cloud from oklahoma. just figured id share with you guys.

also if there are any dream experts out there i also dream every night that i can do back flips. im an athletic guy but i cant do back flips. whats the relevance of back flips in dreams? i tried google but nothing came up.
