This is a great article by Michael Freedman in the latest issue of Newsweek that illustrates the conspiratorial angle that the Republican Party has chosen to pursue now that they have dropped out of power. I know most of you believe conspiracy theories are real, but this article shows how conspiracism is simply a narrative, a worldview that gives simple, black-and-white explanations about how and why things happen the way they do. In other words, there are no conspiracies and it is dangerous for a major political party to use conspiracy theories as the basis of its platform.
