MEXICO CITY: An armed gang disguised as federal police freed more than 50 inmates from a prison in central Mexico on Saturday — including two dozen
with ties toa powerful drug cartel — in a daring raid that took just five minutes, a state governor said.

The prison director, 40 guards and two police commanders who were on duty at the Cieneguillas prison in Zacatecas state were detained for questioning, according to governor Amalia Garcia Medina.

In what appears on the survelience video of the events to be an inside job, according to the TOI, the governor said -

“It’s clear to us that it was a perfectly planned operation with inside help because it lasted just five minutes and not one shot was fired”

Obviously, in the grand tradition of Mexican politics, the foxes are definately in charge of the hen house !

The corruption is so astounding i'd have no idea what to do with a country like that.

I mean if Mexico had nukes (not sure if they do or not) they'd need more attention then pakistan!

It's interesting to note that this story is being carried by an Indian news outlet, but seems to be getting very little play in the western MSM ...

Well, in America we have decided to open our border to them, while funding their army, police and encourage corporate integration into Mexico...

Ya, sure, the Army and the Police defect to gangsters, many of the weapons disappear, and millions of American's will loose their jobs as they go to Mexico, then have no job in America because a Mexican here is doing that one to..

But hey.. the Corporate hot shots and the leading political powers all benefit gloriously.
