Well, it looks like Hugo almost has all the television broadcasters in his country under his thumb. The only station left is Globovision, and it looks
like it is under investigation.
Last anti-Chavez TV station faces probe, shutdown
When Venezuelans tune to Globovision, they see protests against faulty public services or a talk show guest saying Hugo Chavez could be
executed by his opponents, just like Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.
Now Chavez seems to be gearing up for a final showdown with Globovision, Venezuela's only remaining opposition television station on the open
airwaves.
Broadcast regulators are investigating the all-news channel for inciting "panic and anxiety" during a minor earthquake when it criticized the
government for slow response.
I feel Obama is trying to go down a similar path with his selection of General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt to his Economic Recovery Advisory Board, Obama
now has all the NBC channels under his thumb. This has been proven with CNBC being told how to operate by Immelt at their recent dinner.

Ah, so Hugo Chavez is finally close to getting all the American funded propaganda promoters out of his country eh? Good for him. Im sure we wouldnt
allow any foreign supported news sources here...after all, i recall we arrested that gentlemen who was showing al jazeera on his website, despite the
fact that they are a nationally recognized news agency that plays in many countries. Im sure we cant criticize chavez for taking less severe action
than we do...hes just trying to take over the station, not imprisoning the staff, the way we are.
