I understand the sentiment in your piece, and it is just beautiful, yet sadly true. I worked in a large homeless shelter in the city and have seen
the face of the homeless and it is nothing but the face of every man, woman and child we know.
Most Americans are only a few paychecks from being homeless and with this economy now people are finally getting it!
Imagine what it does to a person to be unseen for years and years?
