WASHINGTON — Rick Strandlof, executive director of the Colorado Veterans Alliance and the man most colleagues knew as Rick Duncan, was front and center during the 2008 political campaigns in Colorado.

He spoke at a Barack Obama veterans rally in front of the Capitol in July, co-hosted several events with then- congressional candidate Jared Polis and attacked Republican Senate candidate Bob Schaffer in a TV ad paid for by the national group Votevets.org.

What is it with the vetting process by our media in election campaigns. You can rest assured that if this guy was named Joe The Plumber, he would have been skewered by the media.
I dont neccesarily agree with the premise of the article that this is the Democrats fault. This just shows how our media is very selective in how they approach different sides in political campaigns. Our media et al is treasonous and dangerous to the Republic. The media is supposed to be our watchdog against the government.

Well, with Pelosi - the highest ranking House member telling bald-faced lies to the House in interviews about the so-called torture issue, why wouldn't these low-level democrat operatives also think lying was OK? And so they do ...

Then we have Obama himself lying about closing Gitmo.

And we still don't have a clue who this Barack Obama is?

But we do know he's violating campaign promises left and right?

Folks, we're in a hell of a mess.

Bummer, I love reading the excuses they come up with when they defend the actions of these demo-frauds.

We aren't the ones who are to bame for this type of behavior. There is a prevelent feeling that whole brigades of soldiers are just itching to come forth and tell all the terible things they have done in wars. Mostly when actualy investigated, there are those that are reluctant to identify with this idea. Most are definatly NOT thinking they have done the things our Democratic party is always accusing our military of. These Dems also forget that in the last 60 years, it has been the Dems (except for Iraq) that got us into the wars and the Republicans that have gotten us out!
But then again, these folks have always had faulty memories of things they have done that helped destroy this country! Now with pretty much both parties involved in CYA these days, I am amazed that third party candidates have not been a bigger force in our elections! Maybe its finaly time!

The democrats were were told a 1 1/2 that something was fishy about this guy by a 1997 navy academy grad that could not find this impostor in the academy year book.

They were also told that the unit that this impostor claimed to have served in did not exist.

Even after being told they still did not vet him.

He is about the 5th fake vet that i know of the that the democrats have used in the last 20 years
