I disagree with the opting out of a few(if any) of the Allies. Most won't forget the past and many are(feel as though they are) protected by the US. I believe if push comes to shove the Allies will fight to the end together as none of us want to be dominated by a China/Russia dictatorship. To take over or occupy North America has some logistical issues I do not see either Russia or China able to move in and maintain a presence on North American soil.

Almost 5 years ago some members were making similar claims, such as Russia, and China would never become allies militarily or any other way, China would never try to undermine the U.S. dollar because we are their customers. China, Russia, would never try to attack the U.S. in any way, yet all of this and more which I might have forgotten has happened.

I have posted several times throughout the past 5 years what high ranking Russian, and even Chinese officials have stated, and the plans they say the powers in the east made, which are working perfectly.

Here is what one of the highest ranking Russian officials to detect to the west havas said about the master plan of the eastern powers. BTW, this is not the only high ranking Russian officials who has stated something similar to what Golitsyn stated and wrote decades ago.

More recently, Anatoliy Golitsyn, a Soviet defector of high status, has suggested that the Soviet Union is capable of disinformation on such a massive scale that even the Borkenau system is no longer viable.2 In a book first published in 1984, and of necessity written before then, Golitsyn argues that the leadership of the whole Communist bloc came to an agreement in 1958 in which it established a long range program, a master plan, which it would realize through a large scale deception of the West, a monumental scam.

Golitsyn maintains that the goals of the master plan were to provide a more profound political stabilization of individual communist regimes by developing wider mass support, the rectification of economic weakness of the bloc by increased international trade and the acquisition of credits and high technology from the West, the creation of a substructure for an eventual world federation of communist states, political isolation of the US from its allies, developing influence among socialists in Western Europe and Japan, the dissolution of NATO, and an alignment between the Soviet Union and a neutral, preferably socialist, Western Europe; concerted action with nationalist leaders in the Third World to eliminate Western influence as a preliminary to absorbing them in a communist federation, shifting the balance of power in favor of the Communist world, and the ideological disarmament of the West to create favorable conditions for convergence of East and West on communist terms.

Golitsyn predicts that the Soviet regime will be stabilized by the creation of spurious, controlled opposition movements and the use of those movements to neutralize genuine internal and external opposition, and that it will encourage communist parties to establish united fronts with socialist parties throughout the world thus increasing Soviet influence in parliaments and trade unions.4

Some of the techniques, according to Golitsyn, will be dissension within the bloc, unity of action behind disunity of words, a show of weakness before meeting with Western leaders or before major initiatives or negotiations, and the heavy use of disinformation.5 This disinformation will emanate from official Communist sources, unofficial Communist sources, and "secret" communist sources, much of it retrospective. It is to be delivered through Western newspapermen, scholars, officials, and the Soviet intelligentsia.

The final phase of the master plan, according to Golitsyn, is a disinformation and deception campaign of such magnitude that it would be "beyond the imagination of Marx, or the practical reach of Lenin, and unthinkable to Stalin. Among such previously unthinkable stratagems are the introduction of false liberalization in Eastern Europe and, probably, the Soviet Union, and the exhibition of spurious independence on the part of the regimes in Romania, Czechoslovakia, and Poland."

Golitsyn predicted the "breakup" of the communist bloc in Eastern Europe as a technique to be used by the Soviet government to entice Europe to move more towards socialism and to align itself eventually with the USSR against the United States. The Third World would then join communist Russia and socialist Western Europe against the US and its allies. Then there would be a joint drive by the Soviet bloc and a socialist Europe to push the US out of Europe and into nuclear disarmament. A powerful world federation of communist states would emerge and the US would be induced to "converge" on communist terms.

Israel is on the verge of Irani attack...Russia sides with Iran. The US..having funded Israel must come to its aid. The fighting ground has been established as the entire middle east is in upheavel. China sits on its rooks and awaits its turn in this game.
A frightening, involved and unprecedented scenario.

It's tooo cold in Norway for me. Perhaps we should fight this with words and refusal.

Sorry to say every time someone makes such a claim just shows that people like you unfortunately have no idea what has been happening in the world.

It was also one European country, alongside many others who wanted to give Fidel Castro, a murderer, and a dictator, the nobel peace prize, when this man, and his regime is one of the worst in the world.

Seriously, start denying ignorance and remember that Communism still exist despite the claims of some ignorant people....and the Communist regimes don't have anything good in mind, and neither do those in power in the west anyways which are turning more, and more Socialist...

But the ongoing Israeli and Iranian friction could lead us into a war with Russia as well. I think were headed for some dangerous times.

I honestly don't see Russia coming to Iran's aid, at least at first. Iran has no value to Russia with Russia now a premier oil and gas exporter. Iran is only a Russian media darling.

But Russia does want to control Iran's pipeline and infrastructure. I don't think Russia will ever leave Iran I just think they will use it as a pretext to get involved.

I was thinking tactical; bases, ports and refineries/factories. Or EMP burst vs. the power grid.

I think Canada would be dragged in not because of the US, but an invasion. Canada is rich in oil and would be the first place Russia would want to place an embargo to fuel our fleets.

I hadn't though of that. I have Canadian Military friends and they have always said that if Russia attacked the US they figured a few missiles would land short on purpose to encourage Canada to keep it's head down.

Why wasn't the Iraq war under Nato command when the operations in Afghanistan is?

Nuclear weapons won't be used in the unlikely event we go to war with Russia.

The countries mentioned who have nuclear weapons have a no first use policy.

That is in place because if someone shoots one off then another country will shoot one, so on and so on.

We would destroy ourselves and nobody would benefit.

I am also VERY ANGRY. We elect warmongers as leaders, and then we are surprised/horrified at the results.

Are we just here to wipe each other out? Maybe - it could be a game better than any computer game in the world. We are certainly not saving each other.

I think that the USA needs to take on China - and I do not mean a war, before Russia.

Therefore, the US should not fight China or Russia.

Actually, the USA should not fight anyone, they should focus on feeding and housing their citizens.

In part I agree with you, but Russia, and China are also preparing, and in case some people forgot Russia has already done what could be called a declaration of war, when they released U.S. troop movements to Saddam's regime during the war, not that it helpd them, according to Iraqi documents acquired by U.S. troops in Iraq.

Countries have gone to wars for less, and btw I am not calling for war, I was presenting information on this topic.

Because people are people, with different ideals, different morals, and different goals in life.

Because there are a lot of people who don't have anything good in mind for you, and your family, just take a look at what happens to people in South Africa because of Arab militias, look at what happens to people for being of different gorups, and also because of black warlords want to be in control.

The same thing, or similar things can be found all over. Look at what FARC does in Colombia "claiming they are fighting for the people when they take regular Colombians as hostages.

Look at what happens in Mexico with the drug cartels, and the kidnappings.

The same can be found in other countries around the world.

Sometimes i have no idea why some people make such statements "why can't we get along"... Well, look at what happens in the world.

They better rethink their target here man. I don't know if the US getting into it with Russia would pull my country into this, but I would wave the big white flag of surrender. I really appreciate Russia and its stance against the attack done by Georgia and the zionists on those children that were getting ready to go back to school last August. They were the only country standing up for democracy. And I happened to start googling Russian men, and was quite impressed. The US/UK are the most frightening combo on this planet, the Nazi's! No one is getting me into fighting against a country that produces this:
