their response time is always measured in minutes. Sadly that's just not good enough if you're about to be a victim, in which the amount of time

Sadly this is true. Police are good for one thing: keeping criminals from running rampant in the streets. Other than patroling around and scaring off
potential criminals, or making reports for insurance claims, they are near useless.
Thoes who disagree have obviously not been in enough situations that they've needed to call the police. Mainly those those live in forunate
neighborhoods with low crime rates.

That chart shows that Switzerland has a higher rate of firearms ownership, but a vastly lower rate of firearms deaths than us.
That proves that preventing gun crime is a matter of criminal control, not gun control.
