You know what's interesting, is how prescient we "CT'ers" can be sometimes. This thing just felt WRONG almost from the very start, and my intuition said "inside job" when the information about it's genetic makeup came out, along with the unrelenting media hype, which someone in power has ordered stopped.

What these dark evil people like Rumsfeld and Cheney and others need to learn, is that they do not serve the world, and would be best to just die and go away, like the H1N1 virus. The world has had quite ENOUGH of their killer nonsense, and we can smell it a mile away when it starts up.
In fact, the more they screw around like this, the more people they awaken, and the faster the tsunami of mass conscious awareness approaches their machivelian machinations.

Not only does this seem like a massive error that will be foisted on us all in the form of an economic free-fall, but obviously the health of the world is less important than unloading a dangerous anti-viral before the stocks expire. I'd be surprised only I think it's impossible anymore.

A friend of mine who works at gene secuencing in Mexicos national University told me tha the H1N1 bug has bio engenieering. So its not a natural ocurrence.

BTW I am still alive with no symptoms after being exposed to teh H1N! 7 days ago!

Could you please provide more information? I would be very interested to know exactly how your friend has made this determination. I'm willing to believe it if I hear a plausible story, but quite frankly, I have a hard time believing any researcher would be able to look at any specimen and state unequivocally that it was the result of genetic engineering.

I'm no expert on the subject, but I seriously doubt that the swine flu germ has little Hoffmann–La Roche logos on its cells.

Gee, who could have guessed this? Well, ATS members, that's who. This thing has all the marks of human generated actions. Whether by "accident" or by just plain sloppy actions or intentional actions. The flu, as far back as I remember, doesn't work this way, at least not in the northern hemisphere. I don't recall news of people having the flu in May.
It's past time for a flu outbreak in Kentucky, but this latest outbreak is gaining momentum. Suddenly there's a confirmed case of this flu in my little town. We are not told who this person is who has the flu. It's protected information according to health officials. Meanwhile we have been assured in the local newspaper that anyone who has been in contact with this person has been advised of the contact and have been given anti-viral medicine. The authorities report the infected person is recovering at home and there is not cause for alarm. It's just a mild case of flu. So, then why give people anti-viral medicine if it's nothing to worry about?
It's all very shady feeling to me.

But, I refuse to be limited by fear. I will go out and about on the Memorial Day weekend, gas prices be damned, and have my annual cleaning of my system adventure. But I will still wonder, what is going on? Something is just not right.

I read that article this morning and it says the strain has been around for about 7-8 years so the geneticists are wondering why it's just now showing up in people.

From one side of their mouths they say that it has "bioengineered" written all over it and out of the other side of their mouths they say it just accidentally mutated in eggs and escaped the lab.

It didn't "go wild" in nature...it escaped a LAB!

The article also gives differing statistics for numbers of people infected and amount of those who have died compared to other sources for the same statistics.
