I've been playing World of Warcraft for awhile and... well, here's the thing.
No matter what level I am, no matter where I am, it's the same thing. Slash hack, hit repeat.
Not that that's always a problem, sometimes that's all I want out of a game.
But at the same time, I like something a little mentally challenging as well.

Puzzles, or quests where you have to figure out your next step.

Something to engage your brain while you're playing.

While I'm not a big game player, it gives me something to do on nights I can't sleep.

Was wondering if there's a MMO available that works along those lines, something that'll play on a low end laptop.

I've been playing WoW since release and can totally relate to you. I still get some enjoyment from it but it's more like a bad habit anymore, I login, look for something to do for awhile then i'm done for the day.

I will be moving to Champions Online when it's released in July. It's a comic book super hero MMO along the lines of City of Heroes but looks a lot better so far.

Right now, for me, it's Star Wars Galaxies, and City of Heroes. What I'm really waiting for is Star Trek Online.

Here are a few of my particular favorite mmo's;

Neverwinter Nights
Diablo 2/3
Guild Wars

Also, you may want to try "Two Worlds" out, I know its more akin to an "rpg" yet it contains more mmo elements than anything.

There is also a sequel coming out for it,...hopefully in our lifetimes, haha

Oh yes, that will be the ultimate MMO if they can pull it off. I like that they moved quite a few years into the future past TNG time line in order to avoid any 'Lore' mistakes that could happen and believe me, get one little detail wrong and the wrath of trekkers would be enormous

Well, yeah, that and the new Stargate mmo.

I hope they start to release mmo's on consoles, since I do most of my gaming there.

The pc is for foruming, lol
