My eyes open a silent chill a sky of red blood pouring itself all over me

Had no drink for a week , should be stronger but Lord I feel so weak.

The Demon I used to smirk about it would never invade my soul my body my mind.

One second Iam an Angel the next a burning fused bomb.

Where has my beautiful taken for granted balance gone?

Keep in control strap the boat on the roof rack, drink coffee and eat grease.

Drive to the ocean drive to the river , drive to a puddle a for the weak.

Blue sky above me chilled air , a life jacket I will wear, paddle into the depths, stroke after stroke away from the cravings cares.

Feeling like I used to when I kicked a Football, when I ran as fast as I could.

Remembering the times running like a crazy child through the English woods.

Got to beat this thing that has crept upon me like a friendly cuddly bear.


First time I have realised what kills you can be that you choose.


Oh Lord of Mercy Please rid me of this constant called Booze.
