WASHINGTON, May 8, 2009 (Reuters) — Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Friday called on the United States to halt air strikes in his country, following attacks this week that Afghan officials said killed 147 people.

"We demand an end to these operations ... an end to air strikes," Karzai said in Washington in an interview with CNN.

Karzai said Obama in their White House summit on Wednesday had expressed "sorrows and apologies" over the deaths in Farah province.

i wanted to post this after i read the post *see related threads* about the "US denies 147 civilians killed"

i think this should be intolerable, well on a higher level all these false wars are intolerable, and yet the sheeple are still okay with it cause we are fighting the war on "terrorism" which is just one more false war.

and at the same time trying to get other countries to attack us so we can get this whole WWIII Global Takeover up and running big time..

Good luck with that. The military does not usually take its marching orders from the countries its invaded.

Even after we have allowed a government to be elected? What good is going into a country, deposing their government, installing a new one, and then disregarding them when they want you to leave/stop?

What do we do, kill the democratically (s)elected president of Afghanistan because he doesn't want us there? Oh wait, we have done that before.

What a wonderful message we send to the rest of the world, "we can invade you, replace you, ignore you and punish you."

Not to mention that many of the civilians that died ARE CHILDREN.

How in the hell can we say we promote freedom when we are KILLING CHILDREN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?

I think the man should get his wish. The Taliban will be back within weeks, Karzai will be executed, and the mass misery under fundamentalist Muslims will be once again in control.

Karzai forgets what saved him and his village back when he was just a nothing, and the Taliban was having its ass kicked by Special Forces directing one particular air strike, pulling his bacon out of the fire, just in the nick of time.

Since we're not over there to win, let's come on home and wait until we're attacked again.

I'm just saying this is how war works. The invading forces no matter who rarely bow to the demands of the locals.

That's BS.

If they can handle it, then let them.'

If they can't, we'll handle it.

If we handle it, they should shut the hell up.

that seems to be the motto of the USA, whats sad is people go a long with it, but they are so hypocritical, how would the mass sheeple that is all for us invading the middle east, killing children and innocent people, how would they like it if that happened to the US, if lets say china, or IRAN just came over invaded us, killed innocent people, took out our *false* elected puppet, and installed there own ideals ..

the sheeple wouldn't dig it too much man

Well, if we in the US couldn't do a better job of protecting innocents in Iraq and Afghanistan, exporting terrorism, and training terrorists, we'd deserve it.

But we don't have an ass-backwards, primitive, bloody country full of total misery.

I don't suppose you're talking about supplying Afghan fighters with weapons and ammo when their country had been invaded by the Soviet Union, are you?

You mean the weapons obtained by a Jewish arms dealer, who had to make a deal with the Egyptians, who had the weapons, and then provide them to the Afghanis?

Like providing Stinger missiles to shoot down Soviet helicopters and jets which were pounding villages and wholesale slaughter?

You mean THAT US support?
