Clifton Park-A diner at a T.G.I. Friday's said he got a little something extra with his broccoli-a severed snake head.
Jack Pendelton said he was at the restaurant in Clifton Park on sunday when he spotted something gray mixed in with his vegetables. He realized it was a snake head the size of his thumb, with part of the spine still attached
Pendelton said he snapped a photo with his cellphone camera and called the waiter over. He said he has no plans to sue.
A spokeswoman for the Carrollton, texas, chain says it's investigating. It wasn't immediately known what kind of snake it was.
Pendelton and his girlfriend weren't charged for their meals.

This story appeared in the Local Section under News Briefs of todays Daily Gazette, Schenectady's own paper.
There are two possible explanations for the snakes head being in the salad. One, it was put there by someone who either works od did work for the restaurant, or the couple whho wound up getting the free meal put it in their own salad to get a free meal. Either possibility is plausible

Side of snake? No extra charge.

Where did the rest of it end up? The fried breaded green beans?
Too bad I read this after breakfast...

I would hate to be the employees who had to see this...
