I already said I don't have a problem with those who are anti war. They get out there and actually stand up for what they believe.
Here are some quotes from this thread that trash the troops. These are the ones that hide behind their keyboards doing nothing about it.
That is irritating.
(in response to a post stating that soliders are regular kids next door.)
"any idea how many SS troopers the same could be said for in WW2, i'm sure there were kids like that patrolling the fence in concentration camps up
and down europe, doesn't make their actions good."
"The soldiers in the military and the government are really one in the same. Who else would shuttle you into concentration camps if martial law was
declared?"
(in a post with a video that is very misleading, trying to show soldiers abusing Iraqi children)
"Here are some Iraqi kids begging for fresh water."
These are only some of the things I was talking about.

There are many I believe in these situations of war, incredible stress, lack of sleep etc, that are far to young and unstable to ever be sent to
fight.Yet they send them anyway..They endanger all of our soldiers. They do stupid things and many of them have not grown up with parents who taught
them respect for others, empathy etc.I don`t think they have a clue how to be civil to there own families and we send them to a foreign country with a
gun and an attitude. I have a son in law who is serving honorably as we speak in Iraq ,he has been around some of these idiots, they are in the few not
the majority, but they are a huge problem

And the sources of your cute little pictures? I wonder where they came from? And of course, they are obviously dead civilians killed by US troops; no
way they could have been killed by insurgents. As I said before, they seem to like to kill civilians quite a bit.

Its ridiculous how soldiers mess with the kids, abusing them, teasing them with food and water. Seriously, we are suppose to be so much better than
that. Those who are doing their best to do what they are suppose to do, much respect for you.
But this war, is not only incredibly stupid, it's useless.
Great post!

Here's a larger one of a warmonger who loved children.
It just shows how we only get one side of the story.
Wicked warmonger kisses baby
I hope no-one minds that I close my eyes to whatever good the aforementioned warmonger did.
However many children he played with and babies he kissed, I hope he and his ilk rot in hell.

Debates such as this are forming more and more often with the rise to supremacy of what Eisenhower called, rather prophetically "The Military
Industrial Complex". Personally, although I wouldn't go to war myself, (I'm just not that kind of person, I'm not of a stern enough stuff to risk
my life for my government, I have no shame in saying it.) I have nothing but the utmost respect for those who do.
Now, the legitimacy of the above pictures aside, for arguments sake, assume that they are real, we have to realise that it is irrelevant whether they
have committed said acts or not, these people are over there, protecting OUR interests. If we want to go and see movies, and drink coca-cola, and use
the internet and eat McDonalds and do all those things that make Western Democracies so great, then we have to do our utmost to kill those who uppose
said system- by any means necessary.
There are no "good guys" and "bad guys" in 21st Century Warfare. There are simply "their guys" and "our guys", and we have an obligation to
support our guys no matter what. These soldiers could be butchering men, women and children by the thousands, and we still need to support them.
Because they are perpetuating the existence of Western Democracy, through actions moral or otherwise.
So, in short, you can keep your "Proof of our abusive troops", be glad that they are what they are, because it is people like them who allow people
like you to live the life you want to live, and for that they must be praised.

Tell you what...join the Army, spend a couple of tours in Iraq or Afghanistan, and only then post garbage about how our troops are abusive.
If you ain't military, then you don't know what you're talking about and should just shut your piehole before shooting your mouth off about things
you know nothing about like some dumbass.

Thank you for these pics. They are very, very touching.
If more of them were willing to "rat" them out, those bad apples wouldn't stand a chance or even bother. Part of the problem is that these people
feel they have a certain loyalty owed to their colleagues and that "ratting" them out is "bad form".
during a time of war , my mind and body were alot different than when I was at home. Alot of the bad things...happen to bad people. We never killed an
innocent, on purpose.
we never fired into a crowd, there are rules of engagement you know.
Yes alot of troops get PTS or just snap while overseas, its a whole new world that is scary to adjust to. I know from experience.
But ratting out makes you look like a coward, and a disgrace. We may not agree with everything a fellow soldier does, and he may not agree with yours,
but when TSHTF, he's got my back, and I have his, were gonna go home to our loved ones!
Now in my 3 tours in the middle east, I never once witnessed an act of brutality, or any sadistic behavior. I actually saw alot of compassion towards
the people we were there to "protect".
The world needs to grow a pair, when the soldiers came home from WWII, they were heroes, but they had done worse things to the germans than those BS
iraqi prisoner pictures. point is the sympathy needs to stop. I agree our presence was never needed, but its there, and it's not going to change. And
while men are under severe battle stress, yes they will do things the general public would gasp at.
I will say again, since I have said it in other posts.
I was in combat, and served 3 tours, I know what its like to be under those situations, and that stress, and the fear of dying every second. How many
people that comment on these sorts of topics have been in combat, or anything even similar.
