Agreed. I buy large quanities of chicken quarters, repackage them for me and my wife, and freeze them. When I want chicken, I take out the
appropriate amount, thaw it, season it, start a fire in grill, decide on the veggies and cook the whole meal outside.
My wife usually cooks no more that twice a week.
And my chicken, pork, or hamburgers are a damned site better than anything you'll get at a fast food joint, or even middlin' restaurant.
