Famed paranormal researcher and author died at age 89. He authored over 140 books on the paranormal and was most publicly known for his investigations of the Amityville house.

I am not very famliar with his work, but if there are any big fans of his out there I think a TinWiki article on him would be quite useful. I have noticed that there is a lack of biographical and career history articles on main researchers of the paranormal and other topics.

If he were going to haunt anywhere where do you think he would choose?

I'm actually reading one of his books ("Ghosts") at the moment. It is written like a textbook, which is good for those who want some hard facts and details without any fluff.

I do believe it was he who coined the term "ghost hunter"
