Hello, I watched an anime on youtube, about the Hroshima atomic explosion of WWII from the Japanese point of view, on the 4th of May, 2009 at about
10pm, Australian time.
The video is called Barefoot Gen, HIroshima Destroyed.
www.youtube.com...
I went to watch it again on the 5th of May, 2009 at about 5:40pm Australian time, only to find the page showing in a red banner
"This video is not available in your country"
I have tried other links within youtube of the same film only to find them also blocked.
Now I know the Australian Government is placing new internet censoring filters in Australia, but why on earth would this be blocked? Aré we not
allowed to see an anime about the war, that is not showing the "glorified" world saving atomic bomb, western point of view.
I have been to the Peace Park in Hiroshima & personally found it an incredibly moving expeirence, knowing that tens of thousands of people were
murdered there, but I digress I am not here to argue about WWII.
How dare whatever #%*#@%$* so & so block my internet viewing. For goodness sake it is not child porn.
Anyone else had this sort of encounter.
Regards.
Addition info on video.
