RMFX1, with regards to your request regarding a photo of the banisters disappearing into the floor I seriously doubt one will come forth. The handrails were cut at the ground level, the only evidence that they indeed continued further down were the holes for the brackets and the ring of different coloured paint from where they were removed. There is no doubt in my mind there were lower levels to Block 14, how many I cannot say, but I can give you my word (for what its worth) that those lower levels were sealed off in every stairwell by concrete. There was another another building on site known as the Ops B building or Operations Bureau which did have as many levels down as there were up. From my ever fading memory it was about five levels above ground, so it isn't inconceivable to me there were five lower levels in Block 14. As to soldiers making up scary stories to give ourselves entertained I can only say this, I have a low fear factor for most things but my arse would chew a toffee whenever I was alone at night in that building, for very good reasons!

Foxhoundone, hows it going mucker? Once again thank you very much for all the input and research you've put into this thread. Take care buddy!

did manage to come across an article relating to lovcraftian,
HP Lovcraft experiment 17, an odd mix off 1945/ modern film mix describing an occult experiment in an SS barracks using some sort of device to summon sinister forces ??, I have down loaded and converted the "17" file and will view and edit experiment 17 later on,

This is a black comedy fictional work reerencing H.P Lovecraft’s "Dreams of Cthulhu" and his invented 'Necronomicon' - an ancient book by a non-existent Mad Arab, Albdul Al-Hazred.

The footage uses an unused "Experiment 17" BBC pilot which was followed by an "Experiment 18", "Hexenhammer Project", etc.

Notably in the Youtube clip one o the Germans working on the project goes violently mad.

The building is interesting, it's possible the Germans buried things they expected would be highly incriminating in War Crimes Trial after their defeat.. But one has to watch they don't start taking it too seriously.

The blending of historical fact with occult fantasy is fun as long as one doesn't try to take it seriously.

Hey Soxmis pal "keeping it lite". Nice to hear from you. Are all prepared for the chinese new year, have a good one from me
, (mucker)

Right back to Block 14 and the cellars/tunnels. i remember a large external concrete vent. just out side the old (arty) Sgt.wo mess club its now gone? And a German Wehrmacht war memorial is in its place,
Checked the structure of Blk 14 and its Gothic style with a large coal heating system (furnaces) in the lower levels. If you check an earlier photo with the coke for the heating sitting to the rear of Blk 14 It appears to lean evidence to a large under ground storage area (IMO).. The thing (SOXMIS) i cant remember is where all the water tanks.reservoirs were situated in the "Heidi kaserne" complex. Anyone any ideas..

And a little snippet i found out from an American vets (cold war) site investigating SS tunnels and underground complexes..
It’s the Full Employment Act for architects and laborers ... we build, we raze and we build again."

"... and in Germany, where the past is much protected and the present is an art form, stick a shovel in the ground and you will find a ... bunker! France had cathedrals, England has castles and Germany ... from World War II through both the Soviet and Allied sides of the Cold War ... there are bunkers .... thousands of them. It was as if by pulling a concrete blanket up, by digging deeper with more wooden forms and rebar steel, somehow, whatever catastrophe might happen would just go away ... or at least allow the bunker inhabitants a few more months, a few more days or a few more hours. In Germany, they have bunkers." .

Yep mmiichael finally viewed "experiment 17" and decided it was some students making a poor short film, not alot of sense if you ask me.
The necromancer thing is a bluff IMO, and not to be taken to seriously, Though i think the HPLovcraft collection deserves a mention,
thank you for your input

If we're going to talk about Horror Fiction he can discuss Howard Phillips Lovecraft. He created the 'Necronomicon' as a fictional book as device in his Cthulhu stories. He died in 1937 of a longstanding illness. Very much a recluse who lived with his aunts, we know virtually everything about him through his vast volume of letters that have been published.

We know he actually took his fiction lightly and did not in any way believe in the occult. He probably was only dimly aware there was a Nazi movement. His works have achieve a cult status since his revival in the 60s.

We know from Lovecraft himself and the people who produced the 'Experiment 17' pseudo-documentary that their stuff is pure entertainment and 100% fiction.

It gets dicey and takes away from historical documenting when people try to blend in actual people, places and events with fictional fantasies.

I was with the 709th M.P. company before going to the 284th M.P. Co. back in 1979 or 1980. Our H.Q. on the 5th or 6th floor. Just so long ago to remember.
One of my girlfriends father told me, that if you went out and dug down one (2) meters anywhere in Frankfurt, you would find the top of an old bunker or bones.

The IG Farben Building or the Poelzig Building or known by most American soldiers as the Abrams building.
The building was the headquarters for research projects relating to the development of, Magnesium, lubricating oil, explosives, Methanol and Zyklon B, the lethal gas used in concentration camps.
It is said that, Two or Three basements are under the Poelzig building, which are sealed and flooded. A tunnel connects the building with Frankfurt's main railway station; however, some sources contend that only the main building and the casino are linked, and that there is no tunnel to the station.
Of the ten thousand prisoners made to work for the company there, most were murdered.

Great Thread.

Apart from Hiroshima and Nagasaki...

In the first half of 1945 the allies were making ground towards Berlin, in a race with Starlin's army, who were approaching from the east. Strangely though, Patton was ordered by high command to change course - leave Berlin to Starlin.... Why?

Patton's new mandate was Operation Paperclip: Nazi labs were captured by the Americans and the scientists shipped back to the U.S. Shortly afterwards, in July 1945, the first atom bomb test took place in the U.S... Coincidence?

Hiroshima and Nagasaki may well have essentially been Nazi atom bombs. It appears that the U.S. were less concerned with Berlin & Europe's future after the war than with their own conflict with Japan (who could blame them). I'd guess they were getting nowhere with the A-bomb and had intelligence that the Nazis had made more progress. That fact that the bomb was ready so soon after Operation Paperclip would suggest they were correct.

there was a movie that was dvd released in 2008 i think that was about a nazi bunker that had a *spoiler* ss commander still alive in it; when the mercs got there for their job of activating the dormant technology there all the "dead" ss troops came to physical reality and killed all the mercenaries. i think the movie was called the bunker. it was good.

i think nazi germany can best be allegorized as a honda with nitro and turbo; while it still functions as a car the maintenance of making it fast requires all the added on parts.if the thule society knew something and acted on it the expenditure of dead people was the resultant of attempted action on this knowledge.while other expressions of this knowledge can be the pruduction of atomic weaponry and modus of transport that defy prior concepts; the other part which is still highly protected and guarded in mystery had the compilation output of dead bodies and the need for more bodies for sustenance.im sure this other revelation had to do with the kharma/dharma/time wheel and its impacts on a user of this "technology".

i read this entire post and found it interesting.

if germany turned its back on its fate and germans were accepted by americans i find it folly for the germans to have not accepted the time they found themselves in.but for the germans effected by this "knowledge" if a present day person were to visit me while i as a german were submerged under water after my country turned away from me would be very hostile to the aliens.this is only as true as the actions enacted based on awareness of this occult knowledge; thus i guess why it was sealed at europe entire attempted to turn away from it.

OK people I have a problem....
Foxhoundone, dude I know you know what I mean when I say there is a problem with the pictures. To keep a long story short -> they're gone....
I had them uploaded to my account on flickr.com =Closed! I tried contacting the admins on Flickr, and I haven't received an answer up to this day.
[And now comes the part that creeps the living S#!T outta me]

I saved them on my HDD and i have tried everything possible to me to find them, but they are gone. I had made about 40 pictures, and the whole Folder is gone...

I don't know whats going on, but since I am getting messed over as a German citizen you must be on to something big here.

If you are going to put that suggestion forward, it is only appropriate that you do the homework on the timelines. The information about the Manhattan Project is out there...within limits, of course. How about you check out some dates and get back to us. Thanks.

"
It could well be that the general level of residual energy from the undoubtfully tragical events during the war is generating this paranormal activity, and not so much active SS occultism."

Well I agree. The presence of underground water would further amplify and add ot the atmosphere.

Just a mid-thread thought

First good to see ya back mate, Still getting messed around by the Feds??
Try not to worry so much about the pictures.
I have a friend in the "know" Who is currently trying to get me detailed plans of Block 14, Before and after the refit, (Approx 20 million euro). Why spend so much on a refit when it would be cheaper to tear down and rebuild??, From the local news outlet by all accounts they wanted the block torn down and levelled, In steed they they lightened the load on the founds/basement, And curiously enough reclassified the building a national monument,
Is that the normal practise PAKD ?..
And once again good to see you alive and kicking

And SOXMIS got over your Chinese new year yet or are still in the doghouse; )

And an old comrade photo in Block 14 (Thanks 57 Bunthorpe BTY)

Hey foxhoundone!

Yeah I've recovered, didn't party too hard, I dunno must be something about getting old! Can't get into the doghouse, Chinese women seem to be so forgiving, unless it costs a lot of money!

With regards to the building being listed, it was quite an important building to the Germans. I was doing guard duty during one of our open days, I was posted at the entrance to the right hand stairwell as you look at the rear of block 14. I had to stop quite a few old timers (WW2 vets?) from getting in for a sneaky beaky. They informed me of the buildings standing as the largest single brick building in Europe so maybe that's why they wanted to preserve it as such. With hindsight I could and should have debriefed them a lot more, another missed opportunity!

Right SOMIS and friends.
I was looking through my many pictures of Block 14 Celle Our old camp during the cold war and was pondering why keep the building and not hand it back to the German army, It was after all a military accommodation block and quite a nice one compared to other British units at that time deployed in the BAOR tactical area of responsibility..
Remember Wietzendorf SOXMIS ?..
Anyways i noticed in one picture of the modernised block 14 taken in a night panoramic view, And spotted the symbol of a triangle being cast on to the front of the block. Cant make anything out of it BUT it helps steer the topic along..

Thaumaturgic Triangle Used for purposes such as spell casting or summoning up demons. Satanists will often mark out a triangular area with symbols or 'powered' (cursed) items to draw in demonic power. This area can be of any size in any area - with 'items' at the three points.
Any ideas guys ??

Man, I can't believe I am reading this...

My ex girlfriends dad was based here in the cold war days, Steve Weekes, his name was...

Anyway, one night we were all in my girlfriends lounge telling ghost stories and he piped up and startred telling us about the time he spent here. The story of the divers was the first thing he told us about; the fact that there were basements which had been flooded and that they sent divers down to investigate. Two didn't come back and the third came back stark raving bonkers, shouting about seeing people down there strapped to chairs with two heads and other dead bodies which weren't human at all. That alone, although far fetched in some people s eyes sent shivers down my spine. I'm well aware of the experiments the Nazi's performed on living "specimens" and I couldn't get this image out of my head.

He also went on to tell us about the weird goings on he had experienced whilst stationed there. The first night him and his mates arrived they saw sillouhettes through the curtains of people walking past the windows and thought nothing of it until the next day when they awoke to realise their windows were about 7ft off the ground! There were other instances where they'd hear people walking on the floors above them but at the time he was there, there were no people stationed on the above floor. Another time both him and his mate came back to find the room had been completely trashed. He said it was always a very eerie atmosphere. I've also heard from another source about the birds who won't fly over the ground and also something about a blood patch on the floor that keeps reappearing no matter how many times it is cleaned away.

The only reason I came across this thread is because I searched on Google after telling my friend about this the other day. It turned out his uncle, who has nothing to do with my ex girlfriends dad whatsoever was stationed here at some point in his military career and he ALSO had heard about the divers and had himself experienced the strange phenomenon relating to these premises. Both of them, completely unrelated people, and they both had the same story, which is why I felt the need to look this up. Also, they both said about the suicide rate here being abnormally high within the ranks.

Thanks for posting guys, truly fascinating stuff!

By the way Mikeraphone, just want to say I found your reply particularly interesting, about what your friends father told you I mean. Look at the links below.

This was reported on by the BBC; a particular strain of malaria which restarts the heart just hours after death and raises the dead. The victim is brain dead of course, but extremely violent and uncontrollable. The fact that the BBC reported on it at least gives it some credibility:

zombiewalkers.com...

www.awilltoact.com.../2

If this strain of Malaria really DOES exist, then this gives reason to theorise that the Nazi's could possibly have experimented with it. And your friends father could well be telling the truth...

the wall ties clearly look like sheaves of wheat. I'm sure there is a reason for that. I'm too lazy to google. Three is a magikal number. sheaves of wheat is an oft used magik symbol.

then again, it could just be an overused stylized fleur de lis.
