welcome back SOXMIS, good to hear from an old cold war vet.
i drank at the milk bar in the town centre and used to skirmish back to camp via the old back gate to hide from the greenjackets who had a habit of
superglueing your fingers to shop windows. lmao those were the days,
remember active edge what a laugh, most of the pads(married folk) would hide when the military police called to pick them up!!. do you think we stood
a chance against the soviets me thinks not left most of our gear in the camp, did you notice the extensive rebuilding work around the back of blk 14
, personally i think its to lightin the load on the founds (cellars)
did you know that about 500 jews escaped from the railhead and were captured an brought to 77 street for formal execution, lovely old camp will have
to revisit some time and see if you can get down the cellars(not me
personally lol).. good luck matey hope you stay on board. cheers

and ohh did you ever go down the sgts mess cellar or entrance flooded too and
presumably connected to block 14??
