fl studio beat. could someone please tell me what they think of the levels. In my headphones the snare sounds too loud, through my stereo, the kick is too loud.

Nah, I dont think the snare sounds too loud, rather the bDrum does.
To much Boom there, imo that is ...

But, Im not hearing it on some headphones.....

that is really smooth. the snare is dead on. the kick is strong , but it sounds cool like that. don't change it. a strong kick pulls the listeners ears, in this particular piece, toward the melodic intermingling of bass and baritone notes that you've got here in this music.

I would tone down the kick a little. It's very strong on my phones, much louder than the snare. Love the song though.

Snare sounds fine....I would drop the kick down like -2 db in the 70-100 range...

Should take away some ummph from that kick and make it blend better......


You could also try taking the mids in the kick down and boosting a tad at the 4,000 mark to make the kick more clear for people listening on ipods and what not.....because they may not have the headphones or speakers to pick up the boom...

I used to use FL...until my computer crashed......good stuff....chill beat I like it.


I would add some random pluckings of a harp or strings or something to add some melody too but that is just my opinion...
