Here's a good one...
discovermagazine.com...
This article shows how arrogant and egocentric mankind is. How little we understand our own theories, or more appropriately, how little journalists
understand the scientific theories.
Things such as quantum physics, time, or the double slit experiment, and even Schrödinger's cat. These theories don't depict a universe in which we
are "required" to observe it in order for it to exist. If this were the case, then we should have existed prior to it even existing. Or some other
form of life of sorts would had to have existed. This is nothing more than religious garbage trying to make man center of the universe again.
How can our species be so advanced now, and yet so infinitely arrogant to think we are the very epiphany and center of all creation. It just boggles
my mind that people think we are the reason that everything exists, or that some divine creator made us and only us. Or that he created others, but we
are the chosen. I mean... grow the hell up people. Sheesh....
We may not understand how the universe works, yet we understand it better than the greeks did when they presumed Zeus was the controller of
lightening, er don't think that way anymore do we? So why presume that we have the whole entirety of existence figured out just as our ancestors had
thought? Are we really that arrogant? Can't we just grow up and accept that we're not all that is, that we are not a favorite species of some
mythical being we made up in our heads? Can we not accept that we are not intelligent enough to know everything?
