I was raised by a Mason and Easternstar, they were my parents.
Both have went home to Heaven, or to where ever the Supreme Architect resides.
I myself Brother am a Master Mason League City Lodge 1053.
I can not say what a Mason is to anyone but myself, and I will share with you Brother my thoughts.
A Mason is not perfect, nor above society in any way. A Mason is simply a man, joined by an Obligation that is worth only what it means to each and
every man that has attempted to stand through it. I find pride and comfort from knowing I share something with my Father and all good men that have
gone before me in this path.
I have had help in times of sadness from some, and been foresaken by others. I judge not those of either side, for I know such is not for me to do.
I keep the obligations with me, and when called upon through these obligations I shall not disappoint the one whom is in need.
Brother, I have no doubt of the place to which you will travel, I know not what the appearance shall be, but I know you shall be greeted by your
loved ones, and by your Brothers.
Perhaps we shall meet someday, if not, then we have shared something few men have. The thing that others seek so hard to find, and yet is so easy to
attain, Brotherly Love, nothing hidden or secret, simply a loyalty to each other, a loyalty that has no boundries of wealth, presteige, knowlegde, or
kinship. A loyalty we and all Worthy Brothers accepted of our own freewill and which we live with everyday of our lives.
May the Supreme Architect Greet you my Brother at the gates of our eternal home.
