Because the CDC was so backlogged, many staes are using their own testing kits-finally- (rtPCR, ELISA, etc.), and consequently, the numbers of
confirmed infections have risen dramatically. About 3 days ago we had a count of 5 or 6 cases: now, over 300 CONFIRMED.

The confirmed cases are rising exponentially, and the UNCONFIRMED cases are swept under the rug. Yesterday I went to my internist in the suburbs of
Chicago for a yearly visit. He was an hour late because 2 people DIED in his office. Both men arrived wearing masks, sweaty, coughing- obviously
severely ill. The ambulance came- and I left. My annual check-up can wait! I asked the nurses what was happening and they only said: a terrible
emergency- they had bad pneumonia. I asked (delicately) if I ought to be worried and one wrote me a script for Tamiflu for myself and my husband. I
have not filled them. Don't worry, but here's a flu anti-viral after two deaths? I'd bet my savings (not much) that those cases WERE influenza,
and WILL NOT BE reported. As I gather Chicago info going forward I will post it. In the interim we are taking Slippery Elm supplements- the Native
Americans used it against flu, typhus, smallpox, etc., as did George Wash. at Valley Forge. It's non-toxic and kills flu (there's a D-isomer sugar
that destroys the viral capsid in the inner bark). You can buy it online, at GNC, Vitamin Shops, etc.
Stay well, and I'll report as I see things
