City of Miami PD on the other hand has the experience and know how on how to handle large crowds.
They displayed this to good effect during the that world trade meeting WTO some years back in 2004.
Those anarchists didn't do very well in down town miami.
I was rooting for the cops during that debacle.

Yes Cheif Timmony himself was out there on a bicycle if I recall and they kept property damage to a minimum and had good cause to be cautious after
what had happened in that Argentinian resort town at the WTO meeting before that.
I am all for peaceful protest but don't tear up the little person's business or place of employment and make life harder on them.
Miami is split up into a lot of different Police Departments with all the incoprorated and unincorporated areas.
One thing is for sure though, the Federal Government did not trust the City of Miami Police Department during the Elian Gonzalez episode or the City
of Miami's Mayor, or the Miami Branch of the ATF and FBI.
I saw in another thread yesterday someone claiming that Census Inspectors were using hand held GPS devices to map out the exact coordinates of various
homes. A few people responding to the thread claimed to have had Census Inspectors show up at their doors with these devices.
Maybe it's possible that is what the Black Hawk was doing, some sort of mapping study?
