This is a bit of a joke - but it isn't.

Remember how Japan wanted to win the war and move into your country and mine (NZ)?

I have noticed that since they lost the war, they are moving in anyway - your beer, our country.

Asahi is amazing, Fosters actually tastes worse than bilge water.

Fosters is just the crap we sell to other countries, i dont think there is an Australian left that actually drinks that rubbish. I wouldnt be to worried the Beers mentioned above are rubbish and are the same as any generic beer worldwide, same beer different label. Now if you want a good Aussie owned beer that actually has flavour, Coopers is where its at.
Of course if you actually respect beer you would just move to Belgium and never drink a lager again.

Respect the critiques on the ales, but I guess its perhaps about , the conspiracy of national identity, and those who want to take the piss out of it.

Diggers at many RSL clubs and their mates have downed Tooheys, Fosters, and four Xxxx over the decades, now the nation that inflicted barbarity on many of the ww2 veterans , have to stomach the gutless fact...Japan now owns their beer guts.
