a friend of mine suggested two days ago that this flue is some kind of racial selection since it only seems to target Latino's. Even the one death in the us is of Mexican origin.

No, it`s not picking on Mexicans. It`s just that the "outbreak" occured in the vicinity of the largest pork operation in the world, Smithfield Foods. They operate out of Mexico, after being fined 12.3 million dollars for violations of the Clean Water Act in the U.S.A.

We are avoiding public contained areas and close contact with others and will not go to ER - unless someone IS dying! We will call doctor instead. Definitely, wash hands alot! I work PT in call center and wipe down everything before I use it. What else can we do?? I know I will stay away from anyone looking ill, but we can catch this when they look just fine! So, I will stay up to 6 ft awat from everyone I can..........

The media is not telling us everything. I live along the red river north of Dallas Texas, I know of at least four confirmed cases in my small town alone. (I work for the local hospital) The news has not said a word about it.

Well I have graduation for UofH in Houston coming up, I will let you know if it is canceled.... I am beginning to plan on it.

Ask your doctor friend about why its so common getting sick in Mexico..

Its very un-sanitary there in some parts,,,the water and the food...etc.....

I am sad about the deaths that have happened but this has been way over hyped,,,

3-400,000 die from the flu world wide a year,,,

And Mexico just claimed the actual deaths from this are NOT GOIng to be as high as they stated,,,

This can be a problem for some 3rd world countries but I really dont think this is going to be the case.

There are doctors who lie, murder, do illegal drugs. What is your point there? Where are the FACTS to back up this email? Show me the people and the correlating numbers and perhaps I will believe but until then...this is what the rest of the world calls SPAM MAIL. Go outside. Knock on every door you can. When you finally get to the home of someone who has come down with the swine flu, get back to me and tell me how many doors it took. Then I want you to start at their neighbor and keep going until you find another one. I will be waiting here when you get back. I feel pretty confident that I have a while.

Funny thing- When I sent this email out to my dad to see the letter from the doctor, he said while he was reading it, it was on the news at the SAME time! LOL.

He said the news just confirmed what the doctor said,"to take it Seriously!"

But, I would never get the Shot because I know thats part of the plan....

How can you so positively say no. Not disagreeing at all with what you say, but have there been any confirmed deaths of any other race... If some entity was trying to pull a fast one, wouldnt you want the fear and attention on something else.. (pandemics, CDC level alerts, front page headlines) so that it all didnt seem targeted. Im just saying we shouldnt over look anything that might be obvious. Also this seems to be no more deadlier than our normals flus that cruise by year after year. The death toll on those are higher than this so far. Seems that all the people that have had it, are pulling through it ok. It just seems a little odd. Just a little food for thought, that is all.
