19 head of cattle die near north La. gas well

(AP) — SPRING RIDGE, La. (AP) ? Nineteen cattle have died in in northwest Louisiana and investigators collected water samples Wednesday to determine if pollutants from a nearby natural gas well might have tainted their pastureland, a state environmental official said...

Randle said he will request results as soon as possible and hopes to get them within a week. He said investigators found white, milky puddles here and there both on the well site and in a 400 square-yard area just inside the pasture.

Investigators couldn't tell where it came from, he said.

There are some people that are worried that this may be biological. The local news had a story on earlier about it. It could either be chemical or biological in origin.

God Bless America!! I swear we are just about two clicks away from a third world country: contamination, infection, economic collapse, crumbling infrastructure, torture, crappy education and worse health-care.

I sure hope this turns out to be contamination and not biological. At least that can be contained...

Someone wake me when this nightmare is over.

Hmmm, first thing I thought of, "Oh god, did it mutate again!".

Bovine/Swine/Avian/Human flu. Bet noone saw that one coming.

Though it's probably just hazardous waste, but I don't know if those cows on the land were used for food or milk if so, they need to trace were it went to!

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I really hope this turns out to be some sort contaminant and chemical in nature and human error.

my bet is they have been feeding the cows with G.M crops again
or they have been testing out the new swine flu vaccine on them

either way
