I pulled my knees up to my chin, watching his face intently, remembering every feature every dimple. His stance was relaxed as he reclined on his... "Our" bed, staring right back at me. It was his eyes which I looked at last, and there was an expression, words shining outward that I couldn't quite hear, but my heart jumped. I smiled shyly.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, face tilted downward. I must have looked so lovestruck to him then. He returned my smile, only his was as tender as his eyes.
"Because I love you" He said simply, and I reached out and touched his face....

But there was no face to touch. The memory brought tears to my eyes as I heard his words so clearly. It just... I don't know. Made me really sad. I'm getting kinda tired of sleeping alone.
