I'm not happy to say that but it looks like someone was enjoying the publicity of his well-done "joke" with lanterns.

Moreover, in the comments on this site there's one who claims his sister was on a wedding that night and they were launching lampions... the process itself is even captured on a video from the wedding. They were laughing on it later on, when it was aired on TV.

So this mystery is solved (?)

First thank you for sharing this info .
I just compared both the photos on the weblink you provided and relooked at the News Video of the objects in the night sky.

I believe someone was using these Lanterns as was reported on the link .

The Objects are not floating and moving as these lanterns do within the Atmosphere.

If you watch the video of this newcast report these objects seem to have a certian movement and they are not being blow by the wind.

My conclusion is that these are a group of Spaceships not Lanterns.

Again I am not disregarding the Lanterns but these objects are Extra-Terrestrial.

The Police Video shows these objects moving in an intelligent manner .

This line of lights looks to be a line of braille. The dots that form letters that the blind use to read. It's a wild guess but what the heck.

they are saying mostly about that its unusual news and that police crew filmed something that they are not sure of what it is and that maybe they are UFOs.....

also they say that officials in Bratislava have been noticed on the event but with no answer....

I think I'll be the first to say, Thai Lanterns or similar.

I'll give some reasons:

• They're extremely stable in flight
  
• They don't zoom around a lot, creating formations or any form of intelligent control (at least according to the footage)
  
• (I'm going to regret this one) People in Czech probably haven't seen a lot of Thai Lanterns.
  
• Description of how they disappear as if their fuel source has run out
  

I am being serious when I say balloons, and not just regurgitating the same old crap, so if you want to be funny, try not to use the same punchline of 'Marsh Gas' or 'Venus'

Well, as I stated before - my GF is slovakian and her parents live 20km away from where this happened. No-one there thinks it's lanterns, not even the people from the obsevatory. I tend to agree with the first hand accounts from the witnesses including the police rather than your opinion based on simply the video. Her mother is not into the whole UFO thing as you would imagine and she has told us they were UFO's. I dont think it's actually disputed in the area, thats how certain the locals are.

Forgot to mention - one of the reasons they say it wasn't lanters is because of something to do with the weather at the time wouldn't have allowed it - though I cant verify this, yet.

These things aren't lanterns IMO for 1 reason.


They're the wrong colour for fire!!

Fire is orange, these things are white. The end.

Something is lighting up flying craft since the saucer was invented
and it not candles.

Flying saucers or ovals that float in the air letting in electrical charges
that come out the bottom of the craft.

Strange but I have heard of such a craft.

On the Moscow video:

Illuminati saucers flying from suspended static currents from above
that go through the craft and show up as lights at the bottom.
Its electrical craft from Tesla.
