don't for one second think i'm suggesting that you should trust people just because, i dunno what's going on here either.

i'm saying vaccines have positive and negatives attached, just saying they're bad is as silly as saying their just good. if you don't understand something it's pointless just running away frightened, educate yourself and then decide.

personally, i won't bother with a flu shot, the risk to me of actually getting flu and dying from it is pretty low, even if this is as bad as spanish flu. i would however get a vaccine if this flu developed a mortality rate above 5 or 6% in people my age.

it's like anything in life, you do a cost/benefit analysis and make a decision based on that.
