I just found
this source while investigating Garden path sentences, and it kind
of blew my mind about how the words and phrases we use carry multiple meanings.
here is an example from the source;
Pretty little girl's school.
There are four different ways to read that sentence. The school could be pretty, it could be a school for pretty little girls, or it could be a
physically little school, or the girl herself could be pretty little.
I bring this up because knowing things like this will make your posts MUCH better.
Now, take a look at a transcript from a speech and you might have some fun seeing how the words said can carry multiple meanings.
This is VERY important to NLP because generally, if you read that sentence, your mind will only be able to process ONE of the literal four meanings,
even if its not what the writer intended.
