Well... after almost four months of operation, in what we can easily say has been an exploration of what would work, ATSNN seems to be a resounding success. We have several excellent examples of the best kind of collaboration in staying on the cusp of breaking stories, as well as some of the most superior original content of any conspiracy-theme website. One thing we always want to make clear, is that ATSNN.com and TerrorAnalysis.com are your news sites where any ATS member can create new stories, and help drive the evolution of thought on existing stories. As we look to continue to drive the ATSNN concept forward, everyone involved helped shape this prototype mission statement that helps to define what ATSNN is, and more important, what we aspire it to be. ATSNN Mission Statement The Above Top Secret News Network is a community-driven news portal that focuses on the breaking news and current events of our volatile global situation, that influence the complex theories of scandals, cover-ups, and conspiracies that are the core topics of ATS. Our focus is on presenting these alternative topics with a high degree of credibility, integrity, factual reliability, and thoughtful analysis never before encountered in this subject matter. Any member of the community is empowered to create content; contribute to the evolution of thought through collaborative discussion and debate; and forward the motto of "deny ignorance" through a relentless pursuit of truth, no matter where the truth is found. Over the next month, we'll be working on ways to improve the upgrading of submissions, increase the overall awareness of ATSNN, and even provide a means for members to send images from their picture phones of news events they're witnessing. If you have journalistic experience, and would like to help forward the cause of ATSNN, please contact one of our editors: Zion Mainframe, Nerdling, Valhall, or any site administrator (SimonGray, Bob88, or myself). Thank you to all our members for helping to make ATSNN a very unique success story that would not have been possible without the exceptional quality of membership that is the ATS community.

What happens to the stories that are submitted by but accepted for ASTNN?
Do they end up in a section of ATS?
I seem to remember submitting a story and then never seeing it. I have no problem with the fact that all stories don't make it to ATSNN. But, if the story then dies if turned down, why would anyone prefer a maybe ATSNN post to a for-sure post on ATS?

The main reason an ATSNN submission would be trashed is that someone else already submitted the story to ATSNN just before you. We make an effort to move unaccepted stories to the appropriate ATS forum. If you do create a submission that is accepted to ATSNN, you recieve about three-times the point value for each response. Also, ATSNN is spidered several times a day by Google News, so there is a high probability that your ATSNN contribution will be seen far and wide outside ATS.
