Yep, agreed! I am being idealistic... but I'd prefer to remain positive that nothing is irreparable. I'm not saying capitalism as a concept is bad but I think in it's current form (terminally ill), it's something we need to change. i.e. We can't have infinite greed and continuous growth in a world of finite resources. The math just doesn't work - and never will. It's due to this flawed model that we have recessions and depressions... and dare I say diminishing rain forests and extinctions of endangered species throughout the world.

The world just isn't about us (humans). We need to see the broader, long term picture.
