As you may have heard, Kent State witnessed riots over the weekend.
Hundreds of party-goers were at "College Fest," a block party on East College Avenue in Kent, when police began firing rubber bullets into the crowds.
A small group of us were at work in the Kent State newsroom Saturday night and we noticed a large fire outside. Since we were so close, we scooped everyone. No other outlet was even close. We've been footing calls this weekend from almost every major news outlet and bureau (CNN, MSN, Fox, AP, BBC).
