What's really creepy about the "Freedom Tower" is that it's schedualed for completion in 2012.

I hope they do decide not to build that thing and instead, rebuild twin buildings like before. The name "Freedom Tower" is lame, juvenile, like the best thing a GWB could come up with.
Rebuilding the towers would be a monument to the dead like no other. That even from bad things, new things and optimism can sprout.
