I can interview... have done enough in my past... with script if you have... My accent however is a rather plummy English one so probably not what you want

A brit accent is fine with me as long as it's legible and not one of those South London or Welsh accents no one can understand. It would be great from a perspective of this being an international effort among we thread participants.

Utah and Arizona report swine flu-related deaths

David Sundwall, executive director of the Utah Department of Health, said a 21-year-old man with swine flu died Wednesday morning at a Salt Lake City hospital.
Sundwall said the man was overweight and had chronic medical conditions, including respiratory problems and other health issues, that would put him at risk

In neighboring Arizona, health officials said Wednesday a 13-year-old boy from Tucson also has died with swine flu. The teenager died Friday of complications from the flu. He had been hospitalized May 10.
The Arizona Department of Health Services, which confirmed test results, said an older sibling of the teen is hospitalized with the virus, and other family members have recovered from the flu, according to spokeswoman Patti Woodcock
.

Take a good look at the reports for this one.

First he died, healthy - no underlying conditions.

Next he did have underlying conditions

Now we're back to no underlying conditions.

The games are still underway!

Yeah, I couldn't convince a co-worker not to go to CA. My boss went to AZ. Another co-worker will be going to AZ and WI. My boss didn't come to work today as expected. I wonder why now. There was a local dj that suddenly took a week vacation a couple of weeks ago. He hardly ever takes more than a couple of days. He had a cough when he got back on the air, and I'm still seeing more ambulances than average for my region.

Man! I just heard Sanjay Gupta on CNN talking about Synthetic Vaccines Based on Recombinant DNA that they could produce in weeks?

O'boy! I don't want to take anything synthetic that messes with my DNA cell-structure and molecules.

Now I'm beginning to seriously believe that they want to kill us!

I didn't buy into that serious before, but now I'm more or less convinced that they could be trying this - could it destroy the DNA of a big part of the world population?

I don't like this sci-fi fantasy of mine at all:

Genetical engineered virus with receptors for a synthetic vaccine, based on recombinant DNA that destroys the DNA of a specific group of people that have some common genetical marker.

What could it be?

Am I totally paranoid now? ya! probably!

Went out for a long walk in the sun for vitamin D.

Then, other errands, mission accomplished...

* got the jab, Pneumovax 23. I feel like that's 45 bucks well spent

* stocked up on Benadryl

* stocked up on masks, gloves, and anti-bacterial wipes

* stocked up on vitamin D supplements and cod liver oil

* further stocked up on canned goods for 60-day shelter-in-place

* stocked fresh jalapeno peppers (good source vitamin C and capsacin boosts immune)

getting ready for the pandemic!

Well, I guessed wrong, it appears WHO will not go to Phase 6 today as I predicted. O.K., but there seems to be ample evidence that L6 is happening now, in reality, whether WHO has the *gumption* to acknowledge, which apparently they don't (as WHO seems to prefer to bend to political pressure not to go to 6).

Alex Jones --- lost all cred with me when he did an about face and started calling A/H1N1 a hoax when we all know good and well it is not a hoax.

Jeff Rense --- also called it a hoax, so whatever Jeff, no cred.

Steve Quayle --- I like the guy. People call him "doom tomorrow" but I think the guy makes a lot of sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Steve has called this a hoax at all, I think he believes this is the real deal perpetrated by the Bilderbergers.

Matt Drudge --- his drudge report has consistently kept flu news Page One headlines... thank you, Matt Drudge! Every day, you can find a few hot flu stories on page one of drudge.

Now, with A/H1N1 killing more people and infecting folk worldwide like the fastest pandemic in recorded history... I, for one, will continue to make shopping trips for survival supplies (a couple of shopping trips a week) until I am sufficiently stocked for shelter-in-place survival for at least 3 months, food, water, any and all supplies.

I am also embarking on a reading of Stephen King's THE STAND.

Best of luck to all... can't wait for the podcast, ecoparity and the UK chick... hey, give us at least one updated podcast a week, if not daily... daily would be awesome.

When are the WHO starting their daily press conferences again? To me it would be logical for them to annouce level 6 when they are back to doing those.

More than arms and legs isn't a problem. We're in a halfway decent spot if the SHTF. We're getting ready to sink a well too.

edit to add: Just don't expect me to join irishchic in pole aerobics. I'm just average sized.
