Several countries have stopped all Mexican flights, but not USA. THe WHO has raised alert level to 5, but they can't force our president to act rationally.

Russia put fastly all airports on quarantine, they reacted fast. In that thread earlier you can search, we talk about it.

What concerns me it that this hospital has seen 1,000 people in the last two days that show signs of the flu.
This means it is still running through Mexico like wildfire.

The level will not be upgraded today, but we could see a move tomorrow because the cases are doubling. We have human-to-human transmission in Spain and now South Korea.

The USA I am sure has many more flights in and out of Mexico yet they have allowed it to continue, it is crazy.

Does Russia have any cases of flu yet?

It is called bureacracy, why would the governments of the world want to go to level 6 when they have pumped so much money into the failing econimies?

Once it goes to 6, rest assured it will be a depression.

The PTB have to juggle so many things right now, go to level 6 and they are in a conundrum....all that money they used to revive the economy was for nothing. Then they have on the other hand people saying WTH didn't you close the borders..... it goes back to the above.

It is obvious the choice they made, right in front of everyones face. Just keep safe everyone because the bankers of the world are more worried about money than people.

On the US political front, the Dems were trying to hit the Republicans hard for their compromise deal that had the flu preparation funding increase removed from the budget. I think it was in the $900 million range. Well, Obama's recent request of $1.2 billion effectively negates that original dollar request. For the component of this that is all about money, the big spenders win again.
