Am I reading this wrong, or is the ticker at the bottom of this map reading 5 dead in Canada and 1 in Costa Rica?

www.idemc.org...

You're reading it wrong I think... it looks to me as if its the number to the right of each group name that corresponds to the group. I think you're reading the number to the left of each.

now im really sorry to say this but i bet you will shoot someone! you seem overly worried about saving yourself rather than thinking about saving the human race! dont over react my friend! dont grab the gun! peace

Kinda hard to shoot someone since I don't own a gun, lol, except my paintball gun. But I actually care for and advise a small group of friends and family: my home is the rally point if they need to bug out. They've been helping me all spring planting gardens and doing what they can to make this place as self-sufficient as possible.

I can't do a damned thing to help the human race, per se, but I've been doing my best to prepare and help save those I can.

It seems like most of the cases out of Mexico come on with a sudden fever of 103°.

Second line.

I don't want to go off topic Free4Ever2, but felt the need to say that my eyes have been fully opened and as a consequence have been blinded by the tripe that spews from TPTB/MSM.

I now squint like a racehorse with blinkers and my destination is Survival City, a small town near Hopeless Hamlet and Vaccination Village (just trying to keep this on topic).

This guy sums up my attitude towards the cryptic message you elude to:

funny thing happend 3 weeks ago about..My wife took a trip to john hopkins hospital in Baltimore..They stayed at a hotel that was local, the peabody I beleive..The second or 3rd night she was there she had suddenly come down with the same symptoms as this thing..Including pains in her hips witch she has never got..She had asked me to make an appointment for her at our family doctor, but i told her to see if they could check her over at the hospital..well she asked and they said no..not demanding it because it is a specialty hospital she suffered through it..Got home two days later with a high fever, still thinking nothing of it..Symptoms cleard up a day or so later..then a week or so goes by..I joke with her about maybe you got the swine flu..I asked her if there was any house keepers she could see the nationality..And of course mexican...well i'm not bashing mexicans at all,and even thinking that this may be related..but I found it very odd...

Captiva's post a few pages back about his doctor friend made sense to me. I just kept noticing the way Chan kept repeating this would be the first time they would be able to monitor the development of a pandemic. It just seems that this is something they are nearly sure is going to turn deadly. I can't see all these levels and precautions and instituting of plans for something that you rest comfortably at home to get over.

I know this, of course this would happen at the end of the month. Things just have to hold until the 1st for me. I have emergency supplies, but that end of the month crunch is on. People here seem pretty nonchalant about this too. You can rest assure I will be at the store when it opens on the first.

I just hope the sick children don't have this. I would just flip if one of my kids or grandchildren were to get this. I don't even like to think about it. My youngest who is 18 asked me were we all going to die. I had to tell her that I don't think so, but no one knows at this point. Hell of an answer to have to give a kid isn't it.
I don't lie to my kids and they are getting pretty knowledgeable, it is great to see them picking things up on their own. With things like this going on in the world we had better teach them.

I am trying to understand this like everyone else. I have made my comments in the early on of this thread. so far, we haven't anything to worry about (as long as you are not of Spanish decent) If your wife has recovered( providing she is not of Spanish decent) then what is the deal here? Until people of all race start kickin it, I will still believe it has something to do with the Spanish bloodline.

Mikeboy has been talking about a lot of quite testing going on in LA (louisiana) since last night. Now we have two sources on this. Makes me think it is going on.

My wife works at Bayne Jones Army hospital on Fort Polk, Louisiana. In a MEDICAL capacity. Rest assured that if any of that were true, they would have been on high alert today. they weren't, because it isn't.

I don't know about cases in New Orleans, but I know suspected case samples are being sent by police escort to Baton Rouge.

I can only confirm there are numerous Suspected cases from around the state.

THE number of suspected swine flu cases in New Zealand has more than tripled to 104

"The growth in the suspects is primarily from close family contacts of passengers on flights,'' Health Minister Tony Ryall said.

Yesterday, authorities reported 31 suspected cases.

Mr Ryall also announced the number of cases considered as confirmed or probable had dropped by one to 13 because a woman believed to have travelled from Los Angeles had in fact come from Samoa.

www.news.com.au...

Once the incubation time climes, I'm sure we'll see the numbers rise... Of course they're suspected cases, yet.

I believe there has been ONE (1) confirmed death in Canada.
However, I'm looking around right now for actual confirmation as that death is not on the news yet, so it could be inaccurate. I'll post what I find if I find anything.

Edit: There has been no death here in Canada. Just one in the United States. However, here in Canada it's slowly creeping its way across. There are some in B.C., Alberta, Ontario and they say it's probably in Manitoba too.
We currently have 19 confirmed cases in Canada.

The number of Canadian swine flu cases moved up to 19 with the confirmation of six new cases, three each in Ontario and British Columbia.

Please understand, this whole thing only popped up last week (thursday/friday), even though it's infections were happening many weeks before hand.

It will take another few days for the 'suspected cases' to be either confirmed or passed off as something else, perhaps seasonal flu.

If the US cases are confirmed, then it will take another few days/weeks for the bodies to fight the virus. If the body fights the virus too hard (as it will in healthy 18-40yo), their own immune system will kill them by increasing white blood cells and filling capillaries with plasma/water so you end up drowning internally.

A guestimate is that this will happen to 6% of those infected. But if the whole planet catches the virus, then those numbers become scary, especially if it hits Asia.

That's why there's a lag between Mexican deaths and none so far elsewhere. The virus knows no race just hot, sweaty humanoid hosts, upon which it will proliferate and mutate: that is when the panic will happen, if indeed piggy flu is the cyclic pandemic they have been planning for.

My fiancee had all those symptoms 2 weeks ago. Sore throat with a cough, then sneezing and congestion. Headaches and really fatigued. She's better now though. Chest still hurts.
