Because a lot of Catholics went to celebrate Easter in Mexico and brought it back with them is what I think.

It just seems to make sense to me, but I could be wrong.

But not likely. I'm not always right, but I'm very seldom wrong when I've had a chance to think things through.

CNN: "No indication pigs in US are infected".

Like that matters. We care about humans not the pigs. lol

Can somebody explain to me why in the USA the Department of Homeland Security keeps making briefings etc? I thought Homeland Security was to do with anti-terrorism, law enforcement that kind of thing. I mean, i know there are debates and different definitions on the word security, but what about FEMA? Shouldn't they be handling this? Anyone?

It is important..if this proves to infect pigs, birds or any other animals (which it very well may) than it will be very bad indeed.

Also..I think people confuse (media and people talking to media included) vaccine with treatments..

Tamiflu is not a vaccine..but I think when people say they have xxmill on hand, thats what they talking about, not a vaccine. The vaccine is 3months out at least.

Apparantley you have missed the fact that Mexico is one of the top spring break destinations in the world, and that most of the folks that brought it back to there countries, were in fact students vactioning on spring break.
