I think it’s interesting, how divided people are on this issue in ATS polls, but in nationwide polls Obama has pretty high favorable ratings when it
comes to all of the issues he’s been dealing with. Makes me wonder why ATS members mainly see things differently
I think it has more to do with the fact that ATS members are more informed, and more concerned with politics. The average American spends more time
watching American Idol, other boob tube trash, and gets their information from the very biased MSM.
The MSM media tells Americans what to believe, and they dutifully obey.

anyone looking to MSM for Accurate unbaised news regarding Finance, Military ongoings......politics.....health care......etc.......... is completely
skull F%$KED
Obama is a puppet.......U.S politics are puppetville ...just like in ANY other nation state.....i know the fantasy is more enjoyable to
believe.......hell i live it in for parts of every day.......but coming back to ATS when i can remember all the reason's why deep down i believe the
things i do........just seems right for my soul....and gives me a peace of mind
What we know about the world's biggest events and deaths is mostly decepton......same goes for history.......what we are taught and shown.....hell it
is a fairy tale that is so well kept together.....and so widely distributed that......the lie becomes the truth......this will happen (i believe) in
any society , in any country......to varying degrees......we are headed down a dark path......the deception will increase......the threats against our
livlihood and standard of living will increase.....the bliss to just enjoy life while we can with family and friends is comforting...........the world
is a deception...........at least in the USA most of us still have the ability to step away from it all.....turn off the tv....tune in to family and
friends.......keep one eye reading between the lines.....but enjoy life at the same time.

I think there should have been another question or two for those polled: Do you feel safer now that the American president is literally
bowing and apologizing to other world leaders? and Are you embarrassed so far by this administration's repeated blunders on the
foreign and domestic fronts?
Because, NO, I DO NOT FEEL SAFER with Obama's pathetic pandering to other nations, and YES, I AM EMBARRASSED to have this
thoroughly-scripted hood ornament and his PlaySkool cabinet tripping over their own words on a daily basis. Now we even have Canada pissed off
at us...and Canada probably voted for Obama (if ACORN had anything to do with it)!

He's got a strong oratory, and he doesn't look like the Stay- Puft marshmellow man and sound like Mr.Bill from saturday night live like McCain
does/did.......
He's still a schmoe, and wouldn't be where he is if he had not made it perfectly clear he was still going to do the same schmoe-like things as his
predecessors.
So There.

I'm not surprised. Most Americans have no clue of politics beyond silly campaign gimmicks and minds that are easily led by pretty speeches. Like, oh,
the rest of the planet is.
Obama will differ from GWB in that he will royally screw up everything that Dubya didn't get to, and will strip the remaining rights and protections
that Dubya failed to.
Anyone who still believes he is any different, other than superficially, from any other clown who has occupied the oval office is smoking some very
powerful stuff.
Meet the new boss, same as the old. Yep. When I see him destroy the federal reserve, uphold the constitution, decapitate the banks, reduce the
government, embrace isolationism, pull the teat away from coorperations, and actually do something that will benefit Americans, and steer us away from
the NWO, well, then I'll believe.
Until then, he's just another mouthpiece for the real power brokers, still serving their interests.

There are many powerful interests pushing agendas in our current government.
I haven't decided if Obama is walking that fine line or simply complying to the demands of TPTB.
For instance will the torture issue get any traction with the new AG?
Is Obama playing it sly and taking what is given on the margins? In other words he goes along with the prescribed agenda while allowing his lackeys
to stir the muck and create momentum in the masses that TPTB cannot control!
What do you think???

I think Barack Hussein is, like others who have held the office before him, a caricature of "leadership" who possesses no actual power to introduce
change of any kind. Likewise, I think our political parties, election campaigns and political "scandals" are a sideshow, a colossal
vaudeville routine, designed to provide a polarizing distraction for the masses — the bread and circuses of our time.
A distraction from what?
A distraction from the more sinister games that are afoot, such as the eventual and inevitable assimilation of the USA into the Global Union — one
law (not ours), one government (not ours), one economy (not ours), and the wholesale abandonment of the Liberty we once knew.
It's extraordinary to think that America itself was the birthplace of the New World Order/Global Union — dating back to the formation of the
League of Nations in the early 20th Century and its successor, The United Nations — yet we behave as though the NWO/GU is some sort of
boogieman coming to get us.
Hate to break it to you, but the NWO got us about 64 years ago. We invented it.
We've been living in the New World Order since before most of your parents were born. It's just that in the last 20 or so years we've seen
the pretty foil wrapping torn away, exposing the stark face of Socialism right here in America, contaminating our educational system, poisoning our
politics, and feeding class war, culture war and racism propaganda to the masses.
Our Country is So Very Broken!! The World Hates Us!! WE Are To Blame!! How Can We Possibly Mend Our Horribly, Horribly Broken
Country??
Also known as The Big Lie.
And The Big Lie is the most insidious game out there, people. That's what kids are being taught in schools...That's what the
talking heads jabber into our ears 24/7...That's the putrid garbage being pumped into our minds.
Meanwhile, Obama goes bowling, gets a new dog, buys an iPod for the Queen, bleh bleh bleh, Michelle gets a makeover and a wardrobe consultant because
damn, girl, bleh bleh bleh... and this is the real extent of Obama's influence over the fate of the nation. Nada. Zip.
Obama is a poster president. A distraction.
I think the president of the International Meteorite Collectors Association is actually more savvy and influential than the current
president of the United States. Seriously.

SO you said
The largest group, 23%, responded that the "New boss is the same as the old boss," indicating the change platform has so far, fallen flat for
conspiracy theorists.
How does 23% equal an indication that conspiracy theorists feel anything? Yeah its the largest majority, but not by much. Statistically speaking, it
doesn't say anything except that we are quite fractured... perhaps not many of us feel he is doing an outstanding job, but quitea bit of us thought
that we is doing as good a job as possible.

So what? ATS members are paranoid conspiracy theorists by and large. The general public seems to overwhelmingly support him according to just about
every poll I've seen.
Or maybe I'm missing the point. Maybe it was meant to be humorous and to some that was obvious. If that's the case, sorry.

The mainstream media has too many conflicted interests. For instance; when did you last hear anything on the mainstream about dangerous
prescription drugs.
To cover problems with the drug industry they risk the loss of advertising.
Mainstream media didn't do a very good job covering 9/11 in my view.
Lots of stories poorly covered.

I think that poll about sums it up,the Whos wont get fooled again springs to mind!
These elections are nothing but illusions, fooling us into believing we have a choice in how our country is run.We are all cattle to be taxed from
cradle and even after the grave calls.
The ruling elite are certianly not the presidents and PM's and the agenda will keep going on no matter who we vote in.
Its too early to say how Obama and his team are doing, and lets not forget his cards were marked from the start with this frightning economic downturn
and bank bubble burst that came up before his watch and will only get worse!

It's an interesting poll and interesting poll results. It's always good to know a little something about the pollster's methodology and their
experience as pollsters - I have no doubt they have experience as pollsters.
I missed seeing the poll entirely even though I visit this site every day. It might be because I use an old computer for my day time internet use
and must have had partial script blocking running.
This could suggest that people with old/slow computers or people who are impatient with their computers or people who don't like scripts running on
their computers might not see polls like this. I will allow all scripts to run in the future and see what happens as I'm sure the owners of this
side would discourage script blocking as most site owners do. The site runs pretty fast anyway and I appreciate that.

ATS people are thinkers and info junkies no matter what or who they belive in(most anyway). You read the info ,throw out 99% and research the 1% you
have left.
The MSM or FOX for that matter poll the people that will give them the poll numbers they want.Fox can be bashing Obama and the same time be streaming
that his approval rateing is 58%.
There is no one to believe anylonger but I think people on ATS thought about it before they voted. If you think there are no Liberals on ATS because of
the poll maybe the Liberals are a little worried about there freedom.

Only 1,971 votes? Wow, that is a surprising pathetic number for an online poll. Sort of points out what I have always believed about polls and
online forums. Polls are worthless and the internet is where people go to complain about stuff.
