I think it’s interesting, how divided people are on this issue in ATS polls, but in nationwide polls Obama has pretty high favorable ratings when it comes to all of the issues he’s been dealing with. Makes me wonder why ATS members mainly see things differently

I think it has more to do with the fact that ATS members are more informed, and more concerned with politics. The average American spends more time watching American Idol, other boob tube trash, and gets their information from the very biased MSM.
The MSM media tells Americans what to believe, and they dutifully obey.

I think Barack Hussein is, like others who have held the office before him, a caricature of "leadership" who possesses no actual power to introduce change of any kind. Likewise, I think our political parties, election campaigns and political "scandals" are a sideshow, a colossal vaudeville routine, designed to provide a polarizing distraction for the masses — the bread and circuses of our time.

A distraction from what?

A distraction from the more sinister games that are afoot, such as the eventual and inevitable assimilation of the USA into the Global Union — one law (not ours), one government (not ours), one economy (not ours), and the wholesale abandonment of the Liberty we once knew.

It's extraordinary to think that America itself was the birthplace of the New World Order/Global Union — dating back to the formation of the League of Nations in the early 20th Century and its successor, The United Nations — yet we behave as though the NWO/GU is some sort of boogieman coming to get us.

Hate to break it to you, but the NWO got us about 64 years ago. We invented it.

We've been living in the New World Order since before most of your parents were born. It's just that in the last 20 or so years we've seen the pretty foil wrapping torn away, exposing the stark face of Socialism right here in America, contaminating our educational system, poisoning our politics, and feeding class war, culture war and racism propaganda to the masses.

Our Country is So Very Broken!! The World Hates Us!! WE Are To Blame!! How Can We Possibly Mend Our Horribly, Horribly Broken Country??

Also known as The Big Lie.

And The Big Lie is the most insidious game out there, people. That's what kids are being taught in schools...That's what the talking heads jabber into our ears 24/7...That's the putrid garbage being pumped into our minds.

Meanwhile, Obama goes bowling, gets a new dog, buys an iPod for the Queen, bleh bleh bleh, Michelle gets a makeover and a wardrobe consultant because damn, girl, bleh bleh bleh... and this is the real extent of Obama's influence over the fate of the nation. Nada. Zip.

Obama is a poster president. A distraction.

I think the president of the International Meteorite Collectors Association is actually more savvy and influential than the current president of the United States. Seriously.

SO you said

The largest group, 23%, responded that the "New boss is the same as the old boss," indicating the change platform has so far, fallen flat for conspiracy theorists.

How does 23% equal an indication that conspiracy theorists feel anything? Yeah its the largest majority, but not by much. Statistically speaking, it doesn't say anything except that we are quite fractured... perhaps not many of us feel he is doing an outstanding job, but quitea bit of us thought that we is doing as good a job as possible.

The mainstream media has too many conflicted interests. For instance; when did you last hear anything on the mainstream about dangerous prescription drugs.

To cover problems with the drug industry they risk the loss of advertising.

Mainstream media didn't do a very good job covering 9/11 in my view.

Lots of stories poorly covered.
