So all morning i read rumors of WHO upgrading to 6, but anyone see anything of it happening yet..
I'm not finding any thing about it. Wonder if they are wating till things get in place and govt's are notified ahead of time in case people freak out.

I have a question that I'm sure someone on these boards can answer with some authority. If influenza viruses (sp?) are capable of combining with each other, are they also capable of combining with other viruses? For instance is there a chance of there being a combination of H1N1 and Ebola or Rabies?

BTW: You guys have inspired me to revamp my av. I'm sure some will get the reference!

Yea i searched the WHO site for about a hour this morning and found nothing.. so i'm not taking it to seriously. Would pose problems but till i get another viable source, not going to put much stock in it.

I heard about that a few days ago, and The Turner Brodcast does take some large liberties in developing that story.
The only news source I have found credible, that had some of the same story lines in it was this...

The radio broadcast seems way sensationalized, and comes up with ideas that are far away from the article. So...I think that Turner is scaremongering...the actual article on alertnet does not say anything about a mutated air spreadable HIV virus.

Lucky for us! That would be worse than Zombies!

We now have 159 confirmed cases in California with 20 of them so far being confirmed in the Bay Area. (where I am) There are now 15 schools closed with like 7 or so considering shutting down for 2 weeks. It look's like our local newsguys are out for blood on this one they are reporting things as they come in and if it get's scrubbed they are reporting it again!
Doesn't look like they are to worried about getting in trouble for telling everyone that will listen that it is taking off like wildfire here. At the end of our flu season no less.
Another thing to note is that when this thing was spreading in the start it was in the 80's-90's where I am for a week the week before it was the mid 70"s-low 80's! From what all of these doc's on the new's have been saying it is supposed to stop in Summer....kinda funny we had summer conditions for close to 3 weeks before we got a 4 day long cold front, we are now going to start heating up again. I just hope they are right because it is spread here alot worse than what they are saying.

Alex Jones' channel on youtube has been suspended if no one knew. I just found out today.

If cold weather will trigger it, thats not good, we have had snow on the 4th of july before. Nothing unusual for here.

One easter we got snowed in.
