Developed a low-grade fever, dry cough and sore throat on Monday.
Didn't think anything about it until last night, felt like c***.
Stayed home from work today, made an appointment with my doctor.
Saw the physician's assistant this afternoon, doctor was out of office.
Still had sore throat and cough, but apparently the fever has broken, temperature was 98.6, or so I was told. Yeah!
Seems my immune system is one of the few things I can still rely on.
There was a stack of face masks at the reception desk, but nobody was wearing them.
Odd thing I noticed: despite this new flu having been confirmed in my city, no effort was made to take any swabs or other samples from me, despite my
The PA didn't even follow the basic personal protection protocols (No mask, no gloves), even while I was coughing during the exam (Of Course I
covered my mouth).
Maybe I'm just paranoid, or maybe I've been hanging out around here too long, but "Something" just doesn't seem right, and now I have a personal
experience of the "something".
