North Korea Decides to Indict 2 U.S. Reporters

www.nytimes.com

North Korea said Friday that it had decided to indict two American journalists who have been detained for more than five weeks on charges of illegally entering the country and committing “hostile acts.”

“Our related agency has completed its investigation of the American journalists,” North Korea’s state-run news agency, KCNA, reported. “It has formally decided to put them on trial based on confirmed criminal data.”

North Korea is again defying world pressure. With it's missile and satellite launches, and the refusal to engage in talks further, it has already become a pariah in the Western world.

BTW the American reporters who have been expelled are of Korean origin. This comes on close heels of Iran sentencing an American journalist. Iran and North Korea have more than just friendly relations ! Is something cooking here?

Guess more reporters won't be so eager to go there!
